My friend has been encountering this error now for the entirety of Echoes and we are about to get fed up. When Destiny came out all those years ago it was touted as one of the best games to play with friends. It was promoted as a great game where you can help your friends through content. This kept going up to now. We cannot play missions as a 2 man or 3 man fire team anymore. I completed my story quests, he did not. I dont see why I cannot join him. We tried everything. - un-installed and reinstalled the game - rest the licenses - tried to join once in the mission Every single time it just says we do not have permission to join the activity. It's not matchmade. All other activities are fine. At this point my friend is mad because what we have had to do was go in and do all the activities and when the mission comes up everyone has to leave. Yeah he can do it by himself, he's aware. But he is not happy because it's not as fun without friends. He has a point. Bungie this has been an issue since Echoes started. He's not the only one. This is one issue you should be focusing on!!! This will make people quit the game even faster than they already are. What's the point of a three man fireteam if you can't even do the story as a fireteam?
