One of the most unnecessary nerfs.
Warlocks get like 2 decent builds for prismatic and you nerf ones ability update into the ground when devour and demolition dont interact well.
Why must you kill the fun anytime a class has something remotely fun? Honestly who asks for these nerfs? Yall apparently fired the wrong people.
-
I haven’t noticed anything different.
-
That nerf although it was dumb is pretty much noticeable
-
It still does what it‘s supposed to do…proc devour on kills - not on hits.
-
Still can’t believe they had the audacity to nerf us again after all that’s happened
-
“Is it a bug or a feature?” Bungo: “yes.”
-
this change will not stop me from using this build.
-
Devour isn't supposed to be granting grenade energy on hit with normal nades so why would it for arc souls? As a titan main I am impartial to how the situation hashes out, but logically I don't get why arc souls should get the effect.
-
It sounded worse on paper. You still feed your abilities while getting kills w devour active. Throw on a couple mods that grant grenade energy on powered melee hits. A pugilist adrenaline junkie weapon can help mitigate some energy gains.
-
I can’t tell the difference. I’m still dropping multiple turrets.
-
Hmmmm but they don’t nerf hunters all that much do they…
-
Or you know use ionic traces, they give you a lot of ability energy ontop of devour… if your getting kills rapid kills using arc your getting a lot back plus melee
-
I don’t like nerfs either but I think you’re exaggerating the impact this will have on the Prismatic Arc Soul build.
-
It doesn't seem to be that significant. You still get a decent amount of energy back from Devour itself, and Getaway Artist still grants extra energy off of Arc Soul kills. It's just the passive energy regen from Arc Soul hits that gets affected by it.
-
It’s still peak.
-
They just removed the passive increase in grenade energy that you gain when the arc soul damages an enemy when devour is active. Yes, you feel it... but its not a game changer. From TFS day 1, when I first tried the Getaway build, I knew it was too strong and nerfs were inbound soon. I feel that this is a relatively tame nerf on Bungies part, as they didnt nerf the build into the ground as normal. Not sure about what you mean "when devour and demolition dont interact well".
-
Still works just fine… stop crying
-
Literally nothing happened to it. You still have 100% uptime
