Solstice packages aren’t dropping at all
I’ve redeemed a bunch of the new solstice bounties and I’ve gotten no packages or armor.
The packages aren’t dropping at all this is a huge issue.
EDIT:apparently we get what’s supposed to be in the packages when redeeming the bounties,we [b]do not get the boxes,but we get their contents.[/b]

There was probably a series of tooltips that should have popped up to explain how the solstice armor grind works this time round. The staff supposed to be working on it probably got laid off......

I acquired a full set and then got the glow. The bounties now say the rewards are Solstice Package Bonus Perk Solstice Weapon High Solstice Armor. I claimed 2 bounties and absolutely nothing dropped. It’s definitely gotta be bugged

I dont think its an issue im getting a random extra item with the bounty completion, like cores and maybe prisms here and there and stuff like that, very underwhelming

At least from the one and only run I did last night. But to answer some other concerns it seems the bounty packages open automatically unless we are supposed to get both the packages rewards AND an additional reward package. Did I miss something at Eva where you can use the packages at her, I don;t think so but??? Not sure I'll run anymore though as the only thing I would like to get, rewards wise, is that cool squid sparrow it looks fantastic with many different shaders. At least as par, its for cash only. May just use that time to finally do the rest of the runs to get Khvostov take 666 so I can vault it and never use it like so many other exotics! [EDIT] I still miss not running around looking for chests at the end. I know it was busy work, but kind of fun, at least for me.

3 RepliesThe reason is simple, the solstice package immediately opens upon acquiring it and depending on the bounty it'll give you embers for that specific piece of armor that the bounty was for and you can't get the only way to get the new solstice armor is to collect 100 embers for the specific armor slot and use the forge to craft it.

2 RepliesI was questioning whether it was even worth playing it this year, thinking they destroyed it by upping the difficulty in something that should simply just be fun to play. Now I know my answer. Find something else to do!!!

Same, no packages and other interesting bugs. For instance I have taken pieces to the bonfire 4 times to make it incandescent that last upgrade on it. The boots...replicate every time one boot to three every time. (Poor poor points 49, 51s so they get deleted), the cloak never duplicates but neither do they ever get upgraded and the unlabeled blue bar that may or may not show progress at the bottom when within a certain distance of Eva never changes either. So that part at least seems bugged for me too.

2 RepliesI don't think the armor starts dropping until after you clear the respective Armor Ingot Quest. Because I'm sure telling everyone to run bounties is going to go over real well.

I did the same! The bigger green bounties! Hopefully it gets fixed with rewards to redeem in the "special deliveries " machine next to The Gunsmith

Packages aren't dropping, kindling message that we cannot make disappear is ridiculous, and the armor alloy isn't going into my inventory either. So are we just completing bounties for nothing or is Bungie going to somehow deposit all this onto our accounts?
