In a recent comment I made, I had the audacity to use the words "who" and "refuses" next to each other. Here's how that looks:
-blam!-
Pretty cool, I'm glad nobody will be offended by those awful words. And yes, I'm aware it's because of the word you could find if you stop reading at the first E in "refuses" and cram those first 5 letters together, which is not how reading works.
The thing is, people have been (rightly) upset about this objectively awful implementation of a system we didn't need in the first place for many months now. I can't recall exactly when it was introduced, but it's probably about a year old already, and yet it's still preventing us from having normal discussions using every-day words.
What happened to "online interactions are not rated by ESRB" or whatever? Why do the vast majority of players have to struggle with this awful garbage because 1% are raging bigots? While we're at it, why do you even have a report system if you just ignore all the in-game behaviour-related reports people make (this has been proven time and time again) and throw this half-baked trash on us instead?
People have been reporting these issues with the system since its release, yet here I am making another one a year later. This worthless Orwellian nonsense clearly went through exactly zero in-house testing before being thrust upon your community, and should have been removed after the first week of abject failure. But then, probably nobody at Bungie ever looks at this forum, either... no wonder your community is falling apart; you don't listen to it.
