Hunter and Titan prismatic should be more like Warlock
Longish explanation, can just skip to the tldr if you like.
Before anyone gets crazy, I’m not saying Hunter prismatic is worse than Warlock. My issue with Hunter prismatic is there is no reason to not run it, and my issue with Titan prismatic is it feels like there’s no reason to run it.
Warlock prismatic is a great subclass for support, add clear, boss damage, etc. but I’d still run Solar warlock if I wanted juiced up ignitions or insane support sets with things like dawn chorus or speaker’s sight. I’d still run void if I wanted to run a fun and safe lockdown build with child of the old gods. I’d still run strand if I wanted an endless threadling build, or to be cheesy as heck with weavewalk.
I can’t think of any real relevant roll or gimmick that would make me use a non prismatic hunter subclass when Prismatic Hunter, at worst, will do the same thing just a little bit worse. Meanwhile, prismatic Titan pretty much does one thing - punch - and if I wanted to melee everything, I see zero reason why I wouldn’t be on strand.
Tl;dr
Titan needs more of a reason to use Prismatic, and Hunter needs more reasons not to.
