Hey!
First time posting so unsure if this is the correct place to be posting this but For about a month now I've been wracking my brain as to why I've encountered so many random Broccoli errors.
Have done just about every common/uncommon fix under the sun. (reinstall drivers, remove with DDU safe mode, Windows reinstall, Driver only installs, Reinstalled the game, Swapped Storage location Disable MPO etc.). But to no avail it just keeps happening, decided to do some vigorous testing with multiple other games as well as Destiny 2 to see if anything is Faulty specifically with my hardware.
System specs for reference here:
CPU: Ryzen 5600x
GPU: 7900xtx Factory Clock speeds, untampered with any settings.
Driver: 24.7.1 (tested various other Drivers)
Mobo: Gigabyte x570 Gaming X
Ram: Gskill Trident z 3600mhz 32gb (2x16gb)
Now, with testing. I've tried numerous games from all different genres and various different engines. Baldur's gate 3, World of warcraft, Conan Exiles, Civilization 6, Elden ring, War thunder, Cyberpunk 2077 Just to name a few. ALL Run fine, Load usage, Clock speeds both VRAM and Core stay within normal operating range and within spec for the GPU I have. Destiny however, JUST before crashing sky Rockets the Core clock all the way to 3200mhz and 100% usage when it usually sits about 75% usage and 2500mhz. This Results in a crash every time it spikes to that 3200mhz Core speed and 100% usage.
Now I don't know if this is an AMD driver issue or a Destiny issue specifically but I am curious if this is something Bungie is aware of and is potentially looking into a fix for as this is the ONLY game I'm having this issue with. Everything else runs flawlessly.
Thanks for reading the wall of text any feedback from others who may have in the past or are experiencing this issue and any community staff from Bungie is well appreciated!
