What is this BS? A M/K player can hit you pinpoint perfectly at twice the range than a controller player can, simply due to the differences in recoil and flinch behavior.
How is that supposed to be fair? No aim assistance and bullet magnetism in the world will help a controller player against a PC playing having more consistent accuracy on range.
That's like trying to snipe someone with a shotgun on the head with all pellets on 100m range. Literally unfair conditions.

There is no tool better than a mouse for pointing and clicking, I doubt it could be done better even if you were able to aim with your eyes, you essentially would need the game to play for you which kind of already happens with reticle friction. However the tradeoff is that the ability buttons for keyboards are worse than a controller, unless you have some crazy setup. It's very easy to miss an input like your class ability/air dodge/prismatic as they are all on the same row. Additionally, controllers can use the same button for multiple abilities with a long press, which is absent on keyboard inputs. I don't know how many times I have popped my super while trying to use a finisher, and I've got 6,000+ hours in this game. If you want the best aim then use a mouse but if you want the best movement and ability ease of use, then a controller beats keyboards easily.

Edited by Seki: 7/16/2024 7:24:10 AMYou actively choosing hardware that is not fitting the core style of the game genre (swift and precise aim) already gets heavily compensated by software doing the work for you. But obviously the situation is unfairly stacked against you. Because the machine isn't playing the game enough for you.

You should look how matching PC vs console players actually works....it's not how most players expect * Even with cross play on Destiny will not automatically match console against PC players without extra hoops to jump through

It’s easier to use a mouse than a controller, hence why controllers get aim assist

Buy a pc. Its easier to aim with a mouse.
