Need help with error code marmot

(Xbox one X) This Tuesday reset I played one game of iron banner on Pacifica and then went to the tower and got error code marmot. Problem reading game content, file verification may be required. Game crashed and then hit me with with the installing destiny 2 screen. Got up to about 76% and then failed. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled. Got into the game, Ran around the tower making. A build for gm, did said gm with no issues, went back to the tower and opened my vault and I got error code marmot + crash once again. Around this time my Xbox was also having issues like very bad performance games freezing, crashing, and Starvation errors + packet loss when I played apex legends. And now when I loaded up both apex and destiny, half the screen would be black and have a pixelated border to the side that was normal. At this point I did a factory reset where I kept my games. Didn’t do nothin still getting marmot. Fixed the very scary black screen issue. Then I did a factory reset where I deleted my games and apps. That fixed the problems I was having on apex for the most part. I even deleted my profile and played a few games on a new one to make sure. But i still got marmot on destiny 2. I’ve reinstalled 3 times, cleared persistent storage a dozen times, cleared the cache twice, factory reset twice, one keeping my games and one where I deleted everything. How do I fix this

  • Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! Error code: MARMOT signifies that the Destiny 2 game files are corrupted and need to be repaired or verified. For instructions on how to fix the game files on each supported platform, please refer to our guide below. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/4405096052244-Error-Code-MARMOT If the issues persist after trying these steps, I'm afraid you may need to replace some faulty hardware.

  • I'm afraid your storage device is actually failing.
