I've been needing to get something like this for years, but never seem to think about it until I'm ready to get started on a trip.
This is one that I'm thinking of getting, but wanted to know if any of you have any experience with this and/or recommendations for a good, solid, vibration free holder that can be easily removed without leaving any permanent evidence that it was ever there.
Any recommendations?

Usually it sits in the cupholder acting as an mp3 player via my auxiliary plug.

Rokform or quadlock. Thank me later

Yep. It's called, The Wife. Answers the phone for me, so talk about hands free.

Thanks to those -blam!- here and by DM which I am still unable to respond back on for some stupid Bungie nonsense reasoning, unknown to me. My "Daily Limit"? I have not been able to send one on over 2 1/2 years....

Only brand I recommend these days is RAM Mounts. Yes,they're expensive but they'll hold just about everything (even with a case), but they're amazingly adjustable, they're modular, and nearly indestructible. I run a suction cup windshield mount in my Z and will probably use a plate mount in my Frontier once I eventually install a baseplate on the dash.

I can’t see the link you posted, but in the past I’ve seen a magnetic item that clips on the air events and a phone can stick to it.

Edited by f3: 7/11/2024 7:48:16 PMI had one that could clip onto the air vents that I liked, & I don’t recall vibration ever causing me any problems. I can’t find the box & I don’t remember what brand it was, but honestly I think any holder will be more than fine.

Well, I don't have a car anymore, but when I used to have one I never really used it. I don't think I've ever looked at my phone once while in the driver's seat, so I don't really need one. Though, I think my sister uses one. I can ask her for the brand and whatnot, but knowing her it was probably a relatively cheap one. I think if you get one that clips onto the air vents it's usually pretty fine. Obviously leaves no trace, since it's just clipped onto the vents, and I don't think her phone vibrates around when she's using it. Obviously I don't pay a ton of attention to her phone, though.

Well it recently became a law where I live that you can’t have your phone on your person while driving, so we’ve recently installed those holder thingys in our cars. I don’t really have recommendations, they all work fine holding our phones.
