Old Code Emblems Unobtainable Due To Account Linking
I'm pretty sure I'm screwed but I thought I'd post anyway since there's no way to contact Bungie.
I've been playing D2 since launch, around that time I made a store purchase and got the Darkest Day emblem.
I still have the e-mail containing the code; I still have all of my e-mails containing codes. However they no longer work due to being redeemed once before.
Bungie sent me a promotional e-mail, TELLING me my MOST USED emblem is Darkest Day.
However, since around mid-Lightfall, I haven't had access to the emblem.
This is because I foolishly unlinked my PSN account since moving to PC since I lost access to the account.
Today, I regained access to the PSN account, so I re-linked it to my account. My PSN characters have the Darkest Day emblem equipped.
However, logging into the game after enabling Cross Play, I am still missing the emblem and unable to equip it. I suspect this is because the emblem was not tied to the PSN, but the account that the PSN was tied to. Unfortunately, this account seems to be lost because I unlinked the only account tied to it. I should have done things in the reverse order and linked my current Steam account to that account.
Anyway, I'm not getting my hopes up, just a bummer that I made a mistake that essentially locked me out of getting my emblem back no matter what.
I'm wondering if it's possible for a one-time reissue if I provide the redemption code+receipt, or for Bungie to increase the redemption limit by 1 by my account, since I no longer have access to the emblem and they've acknowledged that I owned it. This would prevent any emblem loss in the future in case the derelict account is accessible in a future update.
