I know Titans have been needing a bit of a rework and Bungie has even mentioned it themselves with the release of Prismatic, but here are some ideas for some things to add to each of the subclasses that I think would them more synergy with a specific subclass Key Word or play a more prominent role.
Arc-
I feel like Arc Titans could benefit from the Blind keyword for Arc and it could give them a bit more survivability when it comes to being in melee range with enemy's and have a stable way of getting Amplified.
Knockout- Could blind on hit and do a small AoE blind on kill in PvE.
Touch of Thunder- Titans could be immune to their own blinding grenades to make it viable in those close quarter encounters.
Juggernaut- Could have variable strength depending on class ability having Towering Barricade having the most health and Thruster having least health. When Juggernaut breaks with Thruster it could do a radial blind.
Thundercrash- Make it do the same damage that it does with Cuirass of the Falling Star and change the exotic to give you an overshield still but also make you amplified after so you could get away from the boss easer and super back depending on distance traveled. Will also make it viable for Prismatic without needing to use the exotic.
Void-
I feel like void had that protector feel but a lot of its abilities' mostly affect yourself only. There should be more ways for you to benefit your team and keep them in the fight with Overshields or Volatile.
Shield Throw- It should also give your teammates a percentage of Overshield as well.
Unbreakable- Its an amazing ability and the only thing I could think of it benefitting from is the ability to generate Overshield for your teammates the more it takes damage.
Offensive Bulwark- I feel like its current benefits should be a default in titans kit. Right now it almost feels like a necessity to run from the extra melee damager, or giving your teammates Overshield on super cast, to even the second shield throw. What it could do instead is strengthen the amount of damage Ward of Dawn can take (smaller ammount in PvP) and generate more orbs the more damage the Ward of Dawn takes.
Controlled Demolition- This one feels pretty good but could also play into the protector feel by also generating small amounts of Overshield per explosion for you and nearby allies.
Bastion-Just a decreased in the extra cooldown in PvE.
Sentinel Shield- Make it more like unbreakable where your not getting bounced around by Oger beams or other AoE knockback. Make the lack of a person doing Dps worth running win an slight increase of damage buff that it provides.
Solar-
Solar to me has always felt like a Commander/Leader, leading and inspiring their team in battle. even with the lore implications back from D1. Solar Titans could benefit from giving their team Reload Speed, Fire Rate, or Handling Buffs. This gives Titans a different type of support from Warlocks being Cure/Restoration.
Sol Invictus- I always felt that most of the support/buff giving potential that Solar Titans have come from their Sunspots. having these be shared by default with allies could open they playing field for ways to grant different benefits to teammates. Allowing sunspots to speed up reloads or have increase handling could benefit team comps in different activities. Phoenix Cradles could instead enhance the benefits received by Sunspots.
Roaring Flame-After 3 stacks additional ability kills could bleed over the benefits to your allies in the area.
Stasis-
Stasis Titan Feels like an odd mix, where it wants to be a slow moving tank but has a lot of mobile options. I feel like the subclass could benefit from more ways to use frost armor or a new melee ability in general. I always felt the stationary slam and then needing to run trough the Stasis Crystals or melee through them felt a little clunky.
New Melee?-If Stasis Titan had the ability to change the melee it had for itself and its super it could open more avenues of playstyle. Having a similar charged cone melee to Thunderclap could help. First charge stage could be knockback, the second would add slow, and final would increase shatter range and damage. You could throw down a Stasis Wall grenade and be able to shatter all of the wall safely instead of having to go through it. The same goes for your super. You could slam and create all these Stasis Crystals and then shatter them from the same spot increasing the reliability.
Howl of the Storm- Add an optional follow up slam down like Consecration to make shattering consistent.
Diamond Lance-Have the slam be able to shatter Stasis Crystals.
Tectonic Harvest- Have Frost Armor cause a radial shatter around the player when timer ends.
Strand-
Strand Titan still feels really strong and feels like a good fit. The only additions I could think of is ways of keeping up Woven Mail to keep them in that close quarters fights.
Into the Fray- Should have Abeyant Leaps Suspend grants Woven mail incorporated into it.
Banner of War- Every fourth pulse should grant 5 seconds of Woven Mail. It shouldn't be that strong/noticeable and lower stacks of Banner of War, but at max it should feel pretty consistent, especially with the increase they've added to increase Banner of War.
-Prismatic
With changing the base Subclasses that should also improve what Prismatic is getting/benefitting from. It would have an open playing field to be a good supportive Subclass with the as for mentioned buffs/changes and with exotic class item roles like Precious Scars and Crest of Alpha Lupi.
Aspects-
Knockout-Granting Blind to surrounding enemies
Unbreakable-Generating Overshield to allies.
Sol Invictus-Creating Sunspots for distribution of buffs.
Dimond Lance-Increased shatter capability with its slam
Banner of War- Healing and Woven Mail to allies
Ultimately these are just opinions and speculations on a couple of vastly different ways that Titans could get reworked to fit in more to their role or into new ones. Hopefully Bungie sees this thread and takes some ideas
