I do not understand the logic of me being on a 3 win card still flawless, being placed with 2 negative K/D players, who are both on a 5 game losing streak.
I do not understand why 95% of my games, I am consistently at the top of my team's scoreboard. I do not understand why I am consistently placed with awful players who have a negative K/D. I don't even blame the players for being bad, the problem is the fact they're on my team in general. I'm not the best but I've NEVER been a negative K/D player. Stop putting these people on my teams, it's horrible.
This gamemode is the most RNG garbage, that is practically impossible to win 7 matches in a row without using the card that forgives a loss. Trying to get flawless on this confidence card has been the most miserable experience because it's just not possible to carry and backpack 7 matches in a row without straight up losing interest halfway through. It's awful.

It is totally random. Good players naturally end up on the top of the leaderboard, and the better you are, the more likely that is. If you don't like random teammates, bring your own.
-
If only there was a way to control who is on your team , and bypass matchmaking all together You wouldn't have to cry on the forums

This ruined my flawless last week, too I was 4-0 and got a duo where one player was brand new and they were on a 0-10 streak No shade to them. I was frustrated at first but then they pointed out they were already flawed and didn't think they'd match with people trying for flawless. I know flawless pool doesn't exist, but you're supposed to get some form of sbmm when on a flawed card. These guys were literally under .2 for the weekend. Shouldn't have been in the same lobby.

I deleted the game not gonna play a game and lose lose lose nope.

I had a game today where one of the two stack players jumped of map immediately while the other died 2 seconds later. One of em just kept jumping of the map, i was so confused. Ofc we lost. But it was weird.

Edited by moist: 7/1/2024 4:06:48 PMJust don’t play it,the matchmaking is purely connection based and you’re only gonna win consistently if you’re good. It’s supposed to feel difficult if you’re not good,if you ask me what we need is dedicated servers in trials. A better reward system should be implemented too.
-
Yep. Just stop playing it. It isn't worth the frustration. Eventually, the anti SBMM players will be the only ones left playing each other ironically.
-
I get it and I'm one of those trash players. I feel bad every time I'm in a match with and against guilded flawless players. I didn't choose to be on the team, I'm just here for some loot and to get better at pvp. I get a lot of hate mail but after playing destiny for as long as I have, you get used to the flaws of the devs. This is nothing new

In my opinion, trials is far better than control or competitive
-
Edited by Avory: 6/30/2024 9:11:45 PMYou have 2 choices A. 3 stack B. Stop being a little girl and move on Also stop using confidence then if your not good enough for it use the mercy card
-
Low population. This isn’t difficult.
-
Lol you quit a game everytime you trail behind
-
I always find these posts funny. Just reminds me of, "I'm not wrong, it's the children who are wrong". If you wanna solo and win ya gotta carry, just how it is.
-
If you want to solo you have to carry. Just the way it is. Stack if you don’t like it
-
We love lobby balancing.
-
The lobby balancing is completely rng. And it ultimately is the fairest method. The better you are, the better odds you’ll have at going flawless. Which is good imo
-
The best trials was when all parameters were disabled for the weekend. Very entertaining.
-
There is a simple fix to ensure you are getting players on your team that aren’t negative k/d players though…..
-
You cant influence matchmaking in a way that could prevent this. It just doesnt work with a reward structure based on winstreaks. The mode is the issue. A normal ranked based competitive mode would work way better, but Bungie prefers uniqueness over quality I guess. They should have made comp the PvP endgame with fitting loot instead of Trials

I do feel like trials felt a lot better with card base matchmaking. More fair and balanced games more often.
-
I’ll apologize in advance if I get on your team. But really, lobby balancing in any of the PvP game modes, seems to go up and down in fairness a lot. Sometimes it seems fairly well balanced, and then almost out of nowhere it is way unbalanced, with lopsided games.
-
That’s how it works, if you’re half decent at the game in PvP (Trials, Comp, QP) the game expects you to carry two potatoes while giving the enemy team better players.
