Getting a loss because a -blam!- or someone with a -blam!- internet, leaves doesn't mean the 2 left behind should suffer from that. But as of now, it does. And that is stupid

Well in that case I'd just have a person leave my team every time we are going to lose. Easy 'flawless'.

Actually, there is such a protection. But I think it only works with the passage that takes wins away if you lose.
-
That person most likely left because the team is cheeks and they don’t want to get abused

Sadly Bungie can't have that because people would start playing with a designated leaver who doesn't care about there card and leaves so there freinds don't get a loss -
I thought they already had loss protection in place.

I thought there was Mercy protection in Trials. You get the mercy round if someone leaves mid match, meaning even if you lose, the card does get denoted. Of course, this also comes with banning and suspending from Trials, so that no one can abuse the Mercy system (ie, have someone join your team every match and leave every match so that you never lose, and have the potential to win.)

Edited by Epic ways: 7/1/2024 3:34:03 AMI agree if it were 2 random players leave at the start of match. Best solution bungie should’ve implemented long time ago was to restart a new matchmaking if 2 solos leave during the first 2 rounds. Just to make it fair, 2 missing person should be replaced. Also look at CoD’s rank play- leave too much and you loose more points and eventually get banned. Also matches often are restarted if players leave early. Those who were left behind often have loss protection. Bungie, you need to get your priority straightened!

There is loss protection if someone leaves the first round Also tbh if it’s an unwinnable game from the start leaving is fair play or if your hard carrying and your teammates are so bad you wanna move on to a new game also fair play

I feel like if someone leaves at any point in the match you should get a lose protection and the person who left should get a 30 min maybe an hour ban if they leave. This should also be the same for comp.

Every loss protection active after you can see who you are playing against, is abusable. Rather rework Trials to a normal rank based system, which is the genre standard of competitive modes for good reasons, so you are not dependent on win streaks and a loss would not be as significant.
