please implemts a knock out system we currentle have 64 possible combinations and getting a specific roll it a nightmare if you bad luck with this system if a combination drop it will never drop again until all possible combinations have been drop
next make dual destiny worth it just make that the mission drops two class items always all the time and with the knock out system i said prevausly this will help if the future bungie add more perk to the columms
-
Bummer your mission to get a guaranteed drop isn’t worth it? Sucks man.
-
Edited by Dark Kevin: 6/29/2024 9:06:17 PMI could not agree more, Bungie have to make a change about it
-
I thought the dual destiny mission was amazing? Surely you would all like to keep running it or farming chests? It’s no different to running a raid multiple times and not getting the exotic to drop? I swear you all expect a different outcome from doing the same thing every time, madness I tell you, madness!! 😂

I absolutely love how everyone is now whining about the grind to get the roll they want on the exotic class items and bungie has to change this or do that but when solo players complained about how terrible of a mission Dual Destiny is for them, they got mocked and ridiculed The shoe is on the other foot now and allow me to throw all your complaints back into your face If you don’t like it, just leave the game It’s a MMO lite, enjoy the grind You should have to earn god rolls, not have them served up to you on a silver platter Get good bro LOL
-
Should have been craftable and a grind to unlock all the craftable options, 64 per character smh
-
Love that 200+ upvotes will go to a bigotry post but no one will do the same for a really important QoL forum post smh
-
Further more, 64 unique class items is too many. We should have a single exotic class item that we can unlock new perks on, then allow us to pick them freely. Further further more, Bungie’s previously held reason for not allowing legendary Transmog on exotic armor was that they want exotic armor to be immediately readable. So that people will be able to recognise what exotic you have on. But, there is no way visually to distinguish between the exotic class items. Therefor, we should be allowed to Transmog any legendary class item over them.

Definitely needs a knockout system, current system is terrible. I'm burned out opening chests around pale heart, gonna take a break from the game. The current system might encourage some players to play more and more but for me its a no.

Edited by The Hermit IX: 7/1/2024 3:19:29 AMNah it’s the entire idea of having things for people to play for. A little of that D1 feeling when you hit your rolls. I farmed hard but got half the rolls I wanted in one week. Im currently using Osmi/Verity swapping to Osmi/Star Eater when my Nova Bomb is up. Love it. I hope they add Spirit of the Getaway and Spirit of the Sins in the left column. It’s such a great addition to the game to go along with Prismatic.
-
I think if they introduced something to focus the rolls, a bit like the chalice from menagerie, then it would make the experience much more enjoyable.
-
That’ll get rid of the hamster wheel though.
-
Then how will they get thousands of hours of play time from people grinding constantly?
-
Currently at 30 class items across the three characters and have only one fairly usable one. With the endless (64) perk combos it’s so hard to farm for the exact one you want for a build.

Sunslinger
Literally Dead - old
When it comes to the end-game items, people like to pursue them. It isn't as though this item is required to perform. I didn't need my Charizard to be shiny and have perfect IVs except for a minimal IV in physical attack, but it gave me something to do for a year and it gave me something that I was proud of. Not to mention I've never met someone to this day who also had one. Nowadays people can just give their shiny charizard an item and give it stats. It's no big deal anymore. But on gen 6, it was an object of envy and pride. -
They should have a ghost mod that prioritizes a spirit on your class item similar to the discipline, resilence mods…. At least that would shrink the pool of stuff you are trying to get.
-
The better way to handle this, would be to increase the drop rate slightly.
-
Edited by Zuddy: 6/30/2024 9:16:22 PMI just don’t understand why the sword drops so much and the class item ever 30 chests
-
I'd rather a way to focus the columns to 3 or 4 perks each.
-
This. It would still take 32 runs per character, and with the mission taking 30 minutes, that’s like 50 hours of playtime. It’s probably quadrupled without a knockout system and only one drop per run.
-
Dupe protection is definitely needed
-
I’ve been getting duplicates like crazy. I wasted like 2 1/2 hours of my life yesterday trying to get something different, only to deconstruct it immediately I’m to a point where I am refusing to do anything class item related until something changes. What a bummer it’s supposed to be fun.
-
I haven't stepped foot in since they patched it and I'm sure the player stats support that trend. I swear they promised we'd be able to focus them at the tower, so I'll just wait for that. There are only a few rolls worth using and grinding out for duplicates and useless ones isn't fun and I'll just play with regular exotics instead. Even if we could spend exotic engrams to get random rolls, that'd be an improvement. Pinnacles done and 2 weeks of IB means I can just go play another game after this 2x NF reward week. I'd do it more, but glimmer is an issue and rough trying to store excess golf balls in trash exotic pieces in the vault. Wish we could trade balls/prism for glimmer.
-
Would be nice to at least re-roll one of the perks if you have one perk you like and roll the other. Maybe at Cryptarch, using some rare materials, glimmer etc, like the other armor pieces. 🤷🏻♂️
-
They should have a drop chance from any activity because farming chests in the pale heart gets old really fast.
-
I spent 4.5 hours speed running chests today. I got 7 drops. 6 were duplicates, 3 of those 6 were the exact same roll. So basically, I spent 4.5 hours today riding my skimmer and sword dashing around a patrol zone for a single unique drop, one that I probably won't ever use. This is actually making me not want to ever play Destiny again.

Edited by Tintizzy56: 6/30/2024 1:26:18 AMI have been farming class items for at least 70 hours. I am missing 19 #BungiePLZ
