Ignition kills
Get rid of this off of the Pathfinder. It doesn't work I don't know how many ignition kills I've gotten that it isn't counting. Either it doesn't work properly or it takes way too many kills to progress

Most consistent way I was able to get it to work is by using consecration slam in Onslaught. But I agree it needs to be removed. I'm just not a fan of hyper specific "bounties". It's like bro... stop baby sitting my load out. I don't feel like killing vex with void damage lol

I used Prometheus’s Lens and got it done 3 minutes into a strike.

The only way that it works for me is ignitions from Incinerator Snap, at least in Vanguard operations. I usually end up just loading into the Legendary Nightfall and waiting for my powered melee to charge. Seems there are still bugs that need to be worked out of Pathfinder, but it is much better this week than it has been.

3 RepliesSeeing as so many are struggling with such a simple task let give some tips. Solar subclass on any class Hunter; use golden gun with celestial Warlock, dawnblade Titan. Hammer of all Then equip 2 aspects. Projectile from supers make enemies ignite. And Ignitions have greater area of effect. When you have your super wait till there are a whole bunch of enemies. Activate super; kill 1 enemy and voila If there are enough enemies around you get it done in 1 or 2 activations of your super.

Tried it on a warlock build that reliably ignites the heck out of everything, but it made 0 progress in a couple of strikes runs, so I gave up out of frustration Just got it again on a 3rd reset, where I can either finish 20 VG ops runs or do solar ignitions, so I decided to give ignitions another try, this time on hunter - put on everything that could possibly scroch and ignite, and nothing - still 0% It really feels like a waste of time and is absolutely unenjoyable to try something only to be given 0 progress, then try it again a different way, and still nothing. Truly felt the rage welling up both times and worse, I have no idea if it's because the game isn't tracking it correctly, or if I'm actually not getting the ignition kills (maybe teammates are killing stuff first?). More frustration because I don't know if it's the game or it's me, and if it is me, what can I change UGH their so-called fix this week, offering a single path for one activity, isn't really a big improvement. This just doesn't feel good - yeah I know I should just not do it then, right? Well that doesn't feel good either

Something seemed off. What made the thing even worse is that my other option of progressing through pathfinder was to complete a node that relied on activity progression and would have required around 20 strikes. It was painful.

It's like a total of 10 or 15 kills with ignitions which in the right circumstances can be done with 2 ignitions.

I did it on Hunter. I used the Super Ignition fragment one time before, but I was also able to do it with the Weighted Throwing Knife since it Ignites Scorched targets. From my experience, it seems Ignition kills from abilities are what register for the Pathfinder objective.

Consecration is your best bet, especially in the crucible.

Just to ensure you have it correct, the ignition has to be the killing blow and I believe it may have to kill something other than what is being ignited. It did work last week, but took awhile (it could have also just broken this week).
