Finally someone spoke up on this issue Osiris is a lame character, and Saint could've been a badass one but they made him hella soft and quirky which just doesn't fit at all with his "legendary status" Besides, the "romance" is very badly done, it's cringe and it's also unnecessary, and kids play this game; the game is rated T which is 13 years+, and trust me, kids that age have no business seeing 2 men kiss each other — period

  • Well, yeah, something like killing aliens is completely fake, we all love star wars a little kid, but overuse of swearing or gore might be bothersome to us as little kids. I guess it is a 13 year old, but again, these aliens are completely fake.

  • We can literally kill eachother in the crucible, there’s lore IN GAME of people being enslaved, there’s also genocide in the game. I think a robot and a grandpa kissing aren’t as bad as genocide or slavery.
We can literally kill eachother in the crucible, there’s lore IN GAME of people being enslaved, there’s also genocide in the game. I think a robot and a grandpa kissing aren’t as bad as genocide or slavery.
Literally!!!!! Used incorrectly. Since no guardians actually (literally!) die in crucible, you shouldn't use that word to describe it. Also, genocide and slavery? Uh.... what? When? Where? Not a single race has actually been wiped out. Period. Vex, Humans, Hive, Cabal, Skorn, Fallen.... they're all still kicking! The Witnesses people *maybe* but that was their choice. We didn't do it. Where is slavery present in D2? I've never noticed that, seriously. Possibly the Eliksni having lower caste members as slave labor?

  • slavery:oryx took entire planets and xivu arath has her wrathborn, the hive also have the tithe system and they’re enslaved to their worms. Genocide:the witness and its disciples have wiped out entire races,Rhulk is the last of his kind because of this(he’s dead now technically) and genocide doesn’t have to be the complete wiping of a people,it’s basically the ethnic “cleansing” of one, look at humanity or the eliksni, the eliksni are now split into factions and have no home world and humanity is literally been whittled down to a single city. Also guardians are known to DIE in the crucible just look at dredgen yor and stuff with Aisha, there’s also the whole story with eris’s fire team. We’ve also got the war that happened with the hive on the moon, also the aegis from the VOG is quite literally a guardian’s corpse,we’ve also been able to see saints dead body. There’s also very harrowing stories like the one about ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO DIED ON THE EXODUS. If you can ignore genocide, murder, slavery, dismemberment,AND RACISM but not an old man and a robot kissing then you’re simply obsessed with gay people.

  • You can have this thrown in your face 24/7 but when it's spoken that your not a fan and it needs to be toned down, your considered some sort of phobic... No, you can be completely ok with that but to get it out in your face everywhere does get annoying and sometimes seems forced and uncomfortable to see. Ppl can be what they want as it's their lives. Just stop shoving it down ppls throats all the time and expect everyone to accept it with no response.

  • I'm a bit surprised with all that is going on in Florida that a game like this hasn't made more waves in the media or been brought to the attention of Desantis considering the law that have recently been passed.

I understand you assume some malicious trap or something. I don't do that. I was genuinely curious if the kid was from some weird religious household or just had parents that were very uptight about sechs or something, seeing as how that doesn't seem to be the normal 13 year old reaction these days.

  • I disagree, I know many teenagers that would be bothered by this type of stuff, I don’t mean this to be offensive, but it is only around 3%, statistically, it’s outside the normal culture they’re raised in. I’m not personally going to take a side in this, but I do want to look out for younger audiences.

Oh I don't think a large percentage of the population swing that way, but knowing it's part of society and not thinking its a big deal is a very large percentage of the younger half of the country I live in. Like I wouldn't be bothered if I, at 13, saw a girl make out with a 1972 buick. I'd have some questions, for sure, but I wouldn't be bothered in any sense. And that was decades ago when girls wore actual clothes in public, not the world kids live in these days.

  • A little too true on the clothes things I’m afraid. Depending on where you live is going to change it some, for example California compared to Utah. But the I still feel and that stat backs me up, that it’s still not as normal, and I do think some teenagers maturity differ than others, but I also think, for some teenagers, it could be normal for them, but they could still be a little bit bothered, also, this is is a fantasy game and an extremely old magic guy kissing this Russian robot was a little odd even to me. So I think, political and social norms aside, for 13 year old, and if they are younger, that might disturb them a little bit.

Different between your country and mine as well, me hailing from Norway by the way. But yeah, a kid in California wouldn't have the same reaction as say a kid in Yemen, that's for sure.

At 13 I was reading American Psycho and enjoying such exciting things such as the front heavy Laura Trickey on pacific blue, I can't imagine any kid having a big issue with a dude kissing a robot in some goofy space romance.

  • Ones basically a robot and it's not like they're going at it. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me. A 13 year old being bothered by a kiss? C'mon bro. That's ridiculous.
