Personally I don’t really feel like I relate to the content anymore. It be nice to not be alienated and abandoned by the companies we funded and supported into the AAA spectrum.
Imagine Master Chief with garbage alienating content…. Would have crash and burned.

You've been abandoned because an old man makes love to a robot? This is the hill you chose to die on?

The content in general is alienating, not a single subjective plot point.

I was forced to sit on the sidelines the past few weeks because of a bug that prevented me from progressing through the 'Final Shape' campaign. Then, when I complained about the state of the game, I got banned on the forums. If I could have gotten a refund, I would have dropped Destiny 2 then and there, but I'm financially invested in this trainwreck. Problem is, do I want to keep playing and keep paying? Not right now. Bungie needs to do more to keep players like me engaged. It's nearly July and you have a number of big releases already out or around the corner from releasing. If they can't keep players with quality and content, they need an engaging narrative. Problem is, we haven't had that since 'Witch Queen'.
