No, I hated the majority of those. They're poorly written and contrived most of the time.
I'm actually elated they decided to make the focus of Zavala be his guilt over Hakeem in TFS. His storyline with Safi was soooo boring outside of the voice acting.
Zavala and Caital are especially contrived. I really hope they're not actually leaning into this one.
Ana's relationship was and remains some of the worst writing in the series. The only positive aspect is that it was relegated to event lore cards and was/is otherwise irrelevant.
Devrim and Mark are Devrim and Mark, they're the most benign because of how little they shove that down our throats. Plus, it makes sense that the dude who's whole focus is the actual human element would be a family man. His is the only relationship that's actually relatively normal.
Eris and Drifter is some OTP bull. This is why you don't hire fanfiction writers.
Crow and Amanda were fine but really basic and boring until they killed off Amanda for... reasons I still don't understand.
Sjur and Mara were actually pretty decent characters who are much more multifaceted. Being gay isn't their personality. If anything it's just a side note to their relationship.
Saint and Osiris, especially Saint, on the other hand. Have been turned into old man yaoi -blam!- bait. Osiris, at the very least, has had some room to grow as a character away from Saint. Wish I could say the same for Saint, but the dude has been one note for years now and it's just sad how wasted his character has been in general. Granted, I've hated Osiris since before he was ever revealed to be gay. He's generally shown himself to be an incompotent -blam!- and the few times he did seem competent it was likely Savathun possessing him at the time. Sagira was Osiris's only redeeming aspect, and they killed her off screen.
