Their relationship doesnt fit the narritive better than anything else. They couldve been close friends or simply saint couldve went after osiris given they both served in the vangeurd together. Secondly LGBT community the rest is nonsense that exists for people to feel special so they can get an easier life. Also neither are my favourite character, theyre boring and take focus from characters that havent had nearly as much screen time. Finally, most of this game is essentially filled with people who fit into a minority, there are less canonical straight characters than almost anything else, the only thing that has few representation is white men. Crow and Amanda. Zavala and his wife. Cayde and his wife. Drifter and Eris. Ikora and Chalco Yong. You're so blinded by your hate and bigotry that you're believing the BS in your brain. If two gay characters in a game with a bunch of straight characters pisses you off, quit playing and take your hate with you. Osiris and Saint are the two characters in the vanguard with the most knowledge of the Vex so it's the reason they're featured this episode. If Bungie wants to build their relationship more, they'll do it because it's their game and they can write the characters how they seem fit. Their relationship isn't even the main focus of the season, so I don't see why you and the other bigots on here are complaining. Bungie is simply giving their relationship more depth because they are players who like them and their relationship hasn't been built up on screen. All of your dog water arguments are stemming from your hate, and quite frankly you need to quit with the pick me -blam!- because the only people that find it cute are other bigots who want bisexuals erased as well. You haven't given one solid argument that doesn't stem from your feelings, while narratively speaking having them in this episode makes more sense than -blam!- Eris or Xur.

Amanda is dead and was never actually romantically involved with Crow nor are either actually confirmed as anything. Zavala had a wife who never got any screentime due to her dying prior to the story. Cayde and ikoras loved ones are lore only as well as neither being confirmed as anything. Im pretty sure Eris and Drifter is just a fan ship and again neither congirmed as anything. There are no actual confirmed straight characters and the ones that might be are left to the sidelines or exist only in lore, they are also typically the least developed characters in the game. Try again, bungie is still pandering. We have had more seasons focus on saint and osiris than any other character giving a boring relationship more development than characters who havent had anything more than side focus. This game is failing because bungie hires for diversity rather than merit and those people then write more garbage into the game about being inclusive over actually giving a good story and good development to everyone equally. In an attempt at equality all they did was the opposite.

Amanda and Crow did have a relationship but she couldn't have one with him since his past self was the one that killed Cayde. Eris and Drifter definitely have a relationship that Bungie is building up as she clearly can confide in him and accept his flirtatious remarks and even return the favor. They are actual confirmed straight characters, you just like to believe whatever makes your hateful -blam!- sleep at night.
