finally someone said it. props to you my man. I have nothing against the alphabet people but seriously enough is enough. they want us to respect them and as soon as we speak out our mind they just go ballistic. I dont wanna see anymore trans or gay characters. this is a video game and I wanna enjoy playing it without getting irritated.

They should be considered part of the norm. If this was a straight couple, I guarantee that no one would bat an eye. Just like people on the LGBT wouldn't bat an eye because it ain't that deep. The point here is to let people exist without ridicule. Having characters that are not straight and trans is not pushing an agenda. It should be considered as a basic relationship between characters. Having something exist in media does not automatically make it pushing an agenda. And even then, is the agenda bad? In other forms of media where it is more obvious that there's an agenda being pushed, as long as we're not talking bad about straight couples, what is the harm of having those characters exist in the first place? Answer. There is none. You are the one that's antagonizing. You are the problem. You will never escape the LGBT and trans people because they exist IRL. There's a reason that the person who complained about the LGBT flag in helldivers got blocked and banned.

Except they also portray it I'm such high quantity. Like, half the characters in all content now seem to be either gay, trans, non binary, whatever. They are about 1% of the entire human population and even smaller of a percentage in a combat setting. Yet they are becoming more and more common in movies and games. Yes, it's to push the agenda. Numerous companies have ope ly stated this. And yes, they get bonuses and higher funding if they add these characters and stories. This is a known fact. Same as how some governments will give breaks and bonuses to businesses for diversity hiring. The problem isn't that it happens. It's that it has become the Centerpoint for plots lately. Have them being gay in the background, I don't care, but don't have their relationship being the core to the story. Zavalas story with Safi made sense because he was dealing with the trauma of her death. That's a core story. But sitting in the helm and listening to these 2 characters talk about how much they love eachother and how they dream about exploring the stars as a couple in love is just so off topic to the story at hand. We don't care. That's the kind of conversation that should be had in private. I don't need to hear their romantic talk to each other. Same as I don't want to hear any straight couple talking to each other like that. It's annoying and pointless for the games progression.

Ok. See how you actually talked about the relationship? That's ok. I actually agree that they shouldn't be constantly going back to it. Great they're in love. We get it. Shouldn't be part of the main story over and over and over and over. I ACTUALLY agree. It's not about an AGENDA. It's about a repetitive point in the story that has nothing to with anything. Even if this was from a straight couple stand point, I would say the same thing and not care. And don't let anyone say "oh you don't care about this relationship? Well that means you hate these types of couple". Nah that's like saying I like waffles so I must hate pancakes. Nah brother. That's a whole different sentence.

Exactly. Everyone is so fast to group us into "you don't like this so you must hate everything like it". No. I just don't like THAT. I do believe it's part of an agenda driven movement. Bungie is very aggressive with this direction, and they definitely want it forced on us. You should see some of the higher level interviews and financial backer talk. There was a comment made about how they hope it makes us "hateful people" want to stop playing the game because they don't want us supporting their game by playing it. I forget what the guys name was but he was pretty high up in the background of things for a few game companies. And he was talking specifically about destiny 2 for this comment. So it's definitely an agenda. But the main issue is that it's out of place. Let me shoot stuff and get my loot. Give me a story that inspires me to be a hero. I don't need the sappy romance crap.

Serious question, you guys all complain that this stuff is forced down your throat or whatever... so like how long would you need to go without seeing these things that disturb you, before you saw a storyline that had a gay couple, etc., where you wouldn't still complain about it being forced down your throat. 3 months? a year? My guess is the answer is never, because you will always complain about it. I don't even like the storyline of Osiris and St., but it sure doesn't trigger me lol. I just move on and go about the rest of the game.

Probably more average people. The vast majority of people are straight and cis gendered. A lot of media are purely focusing on the minorities just to seem inclusive and it always comes across as pandering due to it never being done in a genuine way.

Except its quite literally pandering, its pushing notions onto young people and given the complete lack of characters matching the average player it could cause certain people to believe they arent who they are, its happened many times due to social media. Secondly im not -blam!- in any way, i simply tokenism and forcing an agender on people due to how badly it can affect those people. There have been several cases of this caused through the normalization of this movement through social media which has lead to many su**ides amongst the youth. Finally you realise youre talking to someone who is quite literally bisexual, i have no hate for people who are part of my community, i just think what the communit has become is stupid and only exists for people to feel special so they gain privileges without any work. Sorry but given youve insulted me, a minority due to my -blam!- you could be considered the bigot.

Bigots like to claim that any LGBT su*cide was the result of some kind of conflicted internal struggle with their identity and not the incessant discrimination, threats, and violence LGBT people face on a regular basis. Im nit spewing hateful BS, im speaking the truth. While yes discrimination will cause an increase in su**ide it doesnt change the fact that everyone faces it. When it comes to the trans community there have been many cases of young people being influenced to believe theyre trans and then after going through irreversible changes they realise they werent. Im not saying thats the way with all trans people but has been increasing with how the 'woke' movement has become. If you were to actually look at what that movement does and preaches i highly doubt youd be on their side. Also im no bigot, im very accepting of people as long as they arent following a craze to feel special and gain privileges by being a minority and also are not spouting BS hate speach 24/7 like the 'woke' movement.

Im not saying being trans is a craze, im saying that people qre using social media to convince young people they are trans and there are parents around the world doing the same. Many people are being forced into believing they are something they arent. You are displaying willful ignorance at a problem that is constantly affecting young people.
