Nah, people have been pointing out how dumb and forced the decision felt from the get-go. The problem is that anytime someone would talk about it. Regardless of how civil the discussion was going, the thread would get ninja'd. Same would happen on Reddit. The only places that ever got to talk about it lacked any kind of cohesiveness that would allow for anything to go beyond surface level statements that were forgotten as soon as they were posted.
