We went from Destiny 1 Space Magic feeling powerful kicking assets and taking names as Guardings to this. Whatever this is, and none of this was being pushed as it has been for a while now in Destiny 2. I don't get the point of pushing this nonsense on people because it causes resentment. It's not like TV doesn't push it enough with everything in this world that has brainwashed so many into believing a lot of nonsense. We get it, people have a different lifestyle, and there is nothing wrong with this. But this pushing it as TV does needs to stop. Just like how they push politics, all of it needs to stop. Look at what ND did to The Last of Us Part 2. Destroyed a game to make a profit off of that group of people, and they won "GOTY". Edit: Look at all these people trying to defend this by insulting others for having a different opinion, but they don't give a crap about how developers are using these people's lifestyles only to make a profit. Milking these players using their lifestyle to do it. WoW! The ones insulting everyone trying to trigger gamers need to get your priorities straight because some of the replies to me alone are the most ridiculous ones I have ever read on this forum and out in the real world, and shows why this is an actual problem. It's a conflict of interest, just like politics, religion, etc. Damn, a lot of you need to grow up because all of what I just said needs to be left out of games.

Brother, it ain't a lifestyle anymore than being straight is. Sounds like you have some biases you might not be aware of.

  •
Brother, it ain't a lifestyle anymore than being straight is. Sounds like you have some biases you might not be aware of.
First of I'm not your brother, thank god for that one. Second, my actual brother isn't ignorant and would never make such a stupid reply as few of you did so far showing you don't know how to comprehend what's being said. Third, thanks for the bump and 100% proving my point about people like you 👍

You know, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt in the first comment and guessing that you didn't realize that calling it a lifestyle was untrue. But since you took your gloves off first, this is justified. How exactly am I ignorant here? I wasn't addressing anything in your comment at large. I was addressing that you refer to being gay as a lifestyle. It isn't. You can choose to live in a van or be vegan. Those are lifestyle choices. You cannot choose who you're attracted to. That isn't a lifestyle. You can claim you don't mind gay people all you want, but your mindset and phrasing betray your real opinion. Maybe you don't even realize you have these implicit biases, but you do. You're not as accepting as you think you are. And LMAO why are you so offended I called you brother, brother? P.S. there was nothing of substance in that last reply you made, just playground insults. Please have an actual conversation if you decide to reply.

  • I'll keep this short. The fact that you called me brother and don't know the meaning behind it, using it as kids do these days that is used as a stupid slang words is what you call Ignorant.

And the swastika used to be a symbol of peace. News flash old man. Times change. New slang takes the place of the old. Meanings change with time. You can whine and get offended by one of the most minor things anyone has ever been offended by, or you can ignore it and address the actual topic at hand that you've been dodging for the last two replies.

Just because you go with what's trending doesn't mean everyone does or even cares to. That's childish knowing most of the slang words used on forums or wherever come from children making things up. It is about as stupid as this group of people a while back tried to get the school district to teach slang in school to be taught as part of the English Language. Dumb ideas that have no meaning behind them are not what this world needs. Oh, and what is this nonsense about that you are saying "I'm avoiding"?

Just because you're set in old ways doesn't mean you can ignore change. Language changes over time. It's called etymology. What's actually childish is thinking things don't change and getting upset when they do. Not a young adult knowing words other young adults use. And brother, comparing youth coming up with new language over time and schools teaching slang is wild. You're out of line and that's a bad comparison.
That's childish knowing most of the slang words used on forums or wherever come from children making things up.
Wait, where do you think language came from? We made it ALL up. What makes the language people made up recently more stupid than the language people made up when you were a kid? Genuinely do you not realize how ridiculous you're being? I literally have called you out for referring to being gay as a lifestyle (it isn't and your insistence that it is is a sign you don't really like gay people no matter how many times you say you don't care about them) every comment and you haven't addressed that a single time. That's what you're avoiding, you haven't said a word about that. For someone so pious about understanding the English language, I'd think you'd have better reading comprehension.
I literally have called you out for referring to being gay as a lifestyle
I skimmed through your reply because I wasn't interested in reading most of it, but this did catch my attention because the word lifestyle was me throwing a word out there, nothing more. Sorry, you didn't call anyone out on anything. You just took a word that was typed and ran with it 🤷‍♂️

  •
Brother, it ain't a lifestyle anymore than being straight is. Sounds like you have some biases you might not be aware of.
My first reply was literally 2 sentences and you skimmed it (seriously, you have that little of an attention span?) You also completely missed the point and instead of actually addressing the point (calling being gay a lifestyle is factually incorrect and shows your implicit biases against gay people) focused in on the fact that I called you brother and grandstanded about how your slang is better than mine? I also can't help but notice you stopped talking about how your slang is better than mine in this reply, did you finally realize how ridiculous you were being? Or are you going to keep digging your hole deeper next reply?

  • Listen, say whatever you want, think whatever you want. I'm done with this because you are making a mountain out of a mole and I'm not interested in entertaining you about something so pointless. Have a good night.

  • Silly how it works, once you leave your small world and face the universe you are bound to see and hear things you are not accustomed to. People need to realize no one is asking you to be gay, just play the game you'll be fine. As long as the game works who cares?

  • You assume Cali is the only place for crazy stuff, you assume you have seen it all but you haven't. Just play the, just like your neighbors, you don't worry about Shaxx and Osiris they will do just fine.

As long as they are respectful, who cares what they do, or anyone does for that matter? My issue is these disgusting developers cashing off of all of this, as they do with a few other subjects that cause conflict and pretend they are "being the nice guy". I wish more people would have common sense because it seems a lot of people skipped that subject going to school. Just a heads up, it's not smart to tell people they assume anything when you don't know what they are referring to.

  • If this story were real, there’s alot of deeper side of the story rather than seeing the surface if you spent a very long time around a bunch of people. If you just like say met a person briefly this morning, maybe just a person’s first name and then never saw that person again for months, then you don’t really know that person other than that person’s first name. But if you met another person and you see that same person repeatedly throughout the whole summer, you might pick up more infos on about that person other than just first name. Same kind of idea is applied to some games. But if you have a problem with somethings, then that’s on you.

Since it's not real there isn't any form of connection at all, especially since it's very poor story writing just thrown in real quick to capitalize. That is the actual problem, not the lifestyle as many on this forum are making it out to be. As soon as people wake up, the better off things will be because that is just wrong and it doesn't matter which developer is doing this.

  • If d2 continues on like d1 without any type of dramas, it would get dull really fast. Dramas are sometime thrown in to help spice things up. And there are all sorts of dramas and dilemmas around the world as of today. Life would be so dull if nothing interesting happened.

If only this was interesting. If they made me care about crow and amanda or osiris and 14, that would be cool. But trying to make me care about a romantic drama where the relationship doesn't even feel genuine to begin with is like putting pretty poor frosting on a cake made out of manure.

  • Bro. LoU Is an incredible narrative the whole way through. You just can't stand gay or trans people. Ellie was gay in Pt. 1 too. You just didn't pay attention, I guess.

  •
Bro. LoU Is an incredible narrative the whole way through. You just can't stand gay or trans people.
First, your opinion doesn't apply to everyone about the narrative, and it never will. But, If you like it good for you, but it doesn't mean everyone "has to". Second, stop making things up in your head that were never said. You don't know anything about anyone on the net. Third, speak only for yourself because there is no way I would let some immature person such as yourself ever speak for me. Have a nice day 😉
