ENOUGH WITH THE LOVE STORY BETWEEN SAINT AND OSIRIS

Agreed, they have gotten more exposure than any other couple in game. I mean when will they expand drifer & Eris or shaxx & mara. At this point I believe bungie is just trolling the community since so many people were against it and it broke D1 lore.

I play this game to kill aliens and have fun with space magic and cool guns. I don’t really want ANY love story in destiny if I’m being honest. It’s just unnecessary story time that the majority of the community would rather spent elsewhere. I don’t care who is in saint 14s bed, I care about all the baller stuff he does when he’s on mission

Bet $50 if it was Tess and Ikora you wouldn’t be so “irritated and annoyed”. Hate to break it to you but the proportion of LGBTQIA+ people who made this game and probably half of all the other creative content you enjoy is wayyyy higher than you think, so how about you let them have literally two characters who they can half-identify with?

Can we all just not be at each other's throats over this? Also realize that these companies don't care about you regardless of who you sleep with. If all of a sudden it was considered bad to be gay and it came with lots of negative PR. These companies would pull or change things extremely fast, at the end of the day, the company only cares about money. Not saying people that work there don't care, just those at the top.

Agreed... we had a whole season of saint making a tea from darkness or something and they SHOVED it in our faces. Now just based on statistics the amount of gays in the main character line is just WAY to dang much. Gotta get those political feel good points.

They retconned Dawn's story because... reasons. If its not the real Saint then he is a liability and should be kept under watch by the Vanguard at all times considering he just got mind controlled but apparently "Teh power of louve" is enough to snap him out of it... -blam!- can we get some actual interesting story telling? Anyway who am I kidding they'll find a way for him to cope with being a phony and turn into a "real boy". Can't believe they also wasted a CG cutscene on Saint going on about how he wants to go into the stars with Osiris and smooch each other till they die like we get it already. They also haven't had any meaningful interaction in the story other than how much they love each other and constantly going on about it since Lightfall.

6 RepliesDon't see anyone complaining about Zavala and his wife and I'd argue that has been put at us equally, if not more, since season of the Splicer. Or all the hints we are getting to Eris and Drifter, either, come to mention it. If it bothers you that much, just turn the sound off and don't listen to it, and let the rest of us enjoy it in peace.

I miss the drifter.being a major story focal point myself....it's been awhile. * I like saint and sometimes even Osiris but love storylines in this game usually come across as silly. The family stuff with zavala and the crow/mara thing is cool. Just not the couples stuff...
