I want to see it continue. I think it's really awesome to see the story play out. The Osiris-Saint dynamic has been a driving point for many seasonal pursuits, which has led to some of the best on-screen storytelling we've had from Destiny. People claim it as woke, but not once has it been shoved on us. It's just a depiction of genuine love between two characters. One happens to be a man, and the other is a machine with a man's mind shoved inside of it.

Definitely. The trajectory of this company has repeatedly proven to me that it no longer aligns with my values. Hence, I’m done with it. Didn’t get final shape, and not gonna. Good riddance.

14 RepliesI'm cool with the relationship. It's no thing to me. Ppl be ppl. Folks love who they love & power to them. I'm more interested in what the Vex are up to tho. I've never been a fan of romantic/family storytelling in fantasy sci-fi games and/or film unless it's central to the plot. It's a soap opera feel to me. Kinda melodramatic & tbh, it's something that exists in our real life. I've been dumped & heartbroken & I've sure as -blam!- let ppl down 🥴 The romance side of it all jus feels jarring to me, regardless of personal preference. I loved Destiny for the fantastical worlds & space demons & crazy time surfing Vex but I've never gelled with the relationship threads. The Hive lore & Eliksni pirates & empirical Cabal are what really gripped me, so when I see a couple having a spat or someone struggling with their father's past, it pulls me out of the world. A great example was getting the far flung parts of the most evil being in existence and then making it into a cup of tea to wake someone's other half. That felt like a huge miss. But that's jus my take. I'm more interested in Worm Gods & Necromancers than love stories & family fueds.

Get used to it.......it's the way the world is going. At least for now it's a quiet behind the scenes cultural war at the moment. But give it time.....it's going to spill out into the open eventually. The UK is slowly having a build up of it's own over the Union Jack lol.

'Me too' turned woke, virtue-signalling company. It was similar double standards with whatever that thing is on Neomuna. Essentially portrayed as a gay fantasy figure, easily the most seggualized character ever to appear (that helped nearly sink the entire company) when all female characters in the Destiny universe aren't even allowed as much as a show of cleevage. It's the double standards and hypocrisy that's appalling.

I mean, anything annoying or irritating to anyone can easily be skipped, if it’s a cutscene. I don’t waste much time on video game cutscenes, anyway.

Isn't Saint an exo? -blam!- I can't remember that... Your right, it's not needed. It's gotten annoying more than just 1 month out of the year. Story was feeling great till that part... That is considered "pushing" at people when if you want to play the story and it's part of the story, and you can't get away from it, or choose NOT to hear it, but then you might miss an important part... It's trapping people to a certain agenda in a way. This is MY opinion, without being rude to anyone...that's what they want, people to react, so they can ban you ..

Agreed, they have gotten more exposure than any other couple in game. I mean when will they expand drifer & Eris or shaxx & mara. At this point I believe bungie is just trolling the community since so many people were against it and it broke D1 lore.
