Season of grindr..

This. This like a MFer!!
-
This thread is gonna get locked....... But I agree, I hate forced love stories no matter who is involved .
-
They should show us something we care about, like The Guardian seeing the artificial timegating removed in front of their eyes.
-
Based Take, the alphabet people crying is so satisfying.
-
We all know why they’re pushing it so hard
-
It'd irritating and annoying
I know. I come to play a game. Their story has nothing to do with the lore. No other love story has that many cutscenes.
-
Hyperion
Milk is the single worst person on here - old
Nimbus rubbing one out in the Pouka Pond is still a better love story than Osiris + Saint-14. -
Yep, the writing is a bit off.

Oct 12, 2015. In or around this date Bungie changed. Thats all I'm going to type. But some of you will Google-Fu it. Go ahead.
-
finally someone said it. props to you my man. I have nothing against the alphabet people but seriously enough is enough. they want us to respect them and as soon as we speak out our mind they just go ballistic. I dont wanna see anymore trans or gay characters. this is a video game and I wanna enjoy playing it without getting irritated.

Put a 🐣 in it and make it 🌈

Edited by Talia Sendua: 6/27/2024 9:48:23 AM"Forced Diversity" in general needs to die. Not just in Destiny or video games/television. Now keep in mind that not every single one of those people is part of this, it's just a minority of a minority in control in the right positions causing those problems. We have companies like Disney hire basically on racism. What? You aren't black/asian/female/transgender? Yeah, sorry. Position you applied for is not for you, even with the fact you are much more qualified than everyone else that applied for it. We have shows being written either by AI or really incompetent people, acted out by incompetent people and produced by really incompetent people. "Anakin blew up the Death Star" is apparently an actor retcon now! We have DEI pushing Diversity in games to an extent that it hurts and kills their games. Look at Suicide Squad (among other issues). Look at Forespoken. Look at World of Warcraft Dragonflight where we have 6-8 gay couples and NOT a single straight one in the DLC and upcoming The War Within one of the leaders is a black/latino-half-elf Woman with only 1 arm. If she is being a big badass, despite her having a fundamentally handicap that makes fighting impossible, you know how "authentic" and "immersive" the game will be. Some Diversity hires even antagonize their own customers. Especially on Twitter... "XY game was never meant for you..." If you don't like it you are a racist... All white men should be purged... (Just to name a few.) It's a big problem in not just the industry, but the world. And the sooner people realize that they left the control to incompetent baby-adults that get offended by every single misstep because the world isn't perfect, the sooner we can take control back and leave it in the hands of people that ACTUALLY CARE about quality, equality and immersion in media. Because those people in charge right now? They don't want actual equality. They want inequality for the majority of hetero people by giving everyone else special treatment and more focus instead of mathematical equal focus. They want themselves to be treated special and us treated like dirt. And unfortunately, ESG rating scores support their behavior for funding. Edit: For those D1 veterans remembering Destiny 1 story.... I don't think in the ingame story was even ONCE a relationship mentioned. Those relationships only were mentioned in the grimoire text which were totally optional to read. The focus was on the universe and it felt good to be part of it.

It is as bad as when they tried to make me care about crow and amanda and their goofy thing, which was one of the worse things I've heard. Even the Savathun/Mara petty weird snide crap that comes over the comms some times in the pale heart, it's so poorly done it's like unironic Mean Girls in Space. The game just has poor writing a lot of the time. This is just one of those times.

Honestly I’m sick and tired of the shoveling down our throats with there love story Even for a second I don’t see what being a letter has to do with narrative here All I see is two guardians who were looking at what the vex and future are trying to do 😔
-
Lol why it’s just an old man and a toaster that he groomed… ( destiny 1 they were written as a student teacher)
-
Edited by Mark, Scholar of Stars: 6/27/2024 7:23:16 PMI don't give any about it. Edit: I have nothing against same-gender relationship, but this relation is very ungainly communicated, - written.
-
It'd [sic] irritating and annoying
And not because it's a gay love story but because it's written so poorly. It's not compelling. I don't believe it. I don't hear it in the voice acting. I don't see it in the body language. It's just empty dialogue and exposition. Do it, but do it better....like almost everything else in this game.

Edited by NotCreative123: 6/27/2024 5:28:25 AMReading these comments is making me feel bad for society. If I dislike the Twilight plotline, do I hate straight couples? If I dislike Tom Cruise as an actor, do I dislike all straight actors? Obviously not. If I dislike the Saint and Osiris plotline, do I hate gay couples? If I dislike Osiris' character, do I dislike gay characters? Obviously not. So why the heck do people call you a bigot for disliking something??? So dumb. The idea that someone IS their -blam!- or religion or race is the problem. From both sides. People are individuals. And judging a situation or a person on an individual basis the exact opposite of bigotry.
If you think all gay tv shows are good just because they feature gay people, then you're a bigot. Just saying. The argument cuts both ways. You should judge the individual circumstance or person, NOT the group as a whole.
Keep the dialogue but change the characters to one male and one female, and you will see what the real problem is. It has nothing to do with being gay. This kind of writing is detrimental to the LGBTQA++++++++++* cause. Teenage romance fan fiction at best. Atrocious writing.
-
Me personally I don’t care who is gay and who isn’t. But having some more traditional relationships would be nice too. Just tone it down a-little. People want to relate not alienate. Like what happened to men’s health month. Didn’t see anything for that. “Most dangerous person right now apparently is a straight white male”… which probably makes up most of your fan base. Just saying.

Can we get men’s mental health awareness month back
