I agree, all this Osiris/Saint love story stuff isn't leaving room for the love story we all really want - Zavala and Caiatl.
-
Did you go through a breakup recently or something? Just ignore it, it's not worse than that.
-
who cares anyway? grand papa and exo, wtf it's like a person will sleep in a bed with his 4090 video card and communicate with it through Alexa
-
I barely even see anything about it in game.
-
Yeah, we get it already.
-
I think you might have bigger issues if this is such a problem for you. I for one prefer it be a part of the actual narrative than tucked away in some lore tabs, it’s Bungie putting its money where it’s mouth is as opposed to a company like Disney. Not to mention actually bringing up the implications of the Corridors of Time to drive a wedge between the two while Saint contemplates himself was a very interesting road to go down. I just wish week 2 hadn’t been blatant filler.

i am convinced posts like these are from bungie employees trying to cause controversy. just do what everyone else does: start the cringey dialogue the. go the the post master or the vault and do some much needed cleaning…
-
Yup not even that final shape story felt like they wanted to push for crow in love with cayed now osiris and titan , we don't need that in d2 after all how can they be in love since they are dead and reborn , Basically bungie is pushing for this crap instead of making more good content
-
I just play the game.
-
Personally I don't care for any love story. Not Saint and Osiris, not Mara Sov and Sjur Eido, or even Eris and Drifter. Maybe that's just the Ace in me, but it's not what I am here for, nor do I like it front-and-center. But I will admit the hand holding cutscene last week was actually pretty wholesome, as much as Mara's sadness over Sjur, and Eris' "trust" back to Drifter. However the narrative technically needs that additional wedge for the proper tone to be set regarding Saint-14's feelings being ripped apart in the current story.
-
It's so weird, too. Like, if you are going to put a gay couple in the game, that's one thing. But Saint-14 is a robot. How do you fall in love with a robot and kiss them and do...all that other stuff lol
-
It's not the relationship that bothered me when it was introduced, it's not like gay people haven't been having relationships since the dawn of time. It was that it felt so forced and out of the blue. There were no hints or chemistry. Like it was just to push an agenda. It didn't feel like playing a game and that was just their characters, it felt like politics and woke culture made it's way into what was supposed to just be a game.
-
Hold on, you are not skipping the cutscenes or doing something els when they throw in one of those where you have to stand there like an idiot and basically eavesdrop?
-
Regret
Lore-Deity - old
This kind of stuff just isn’t worth arguing about… personally I just skip the things I don’t like to see … -
Edited by KΞTHΞΓ NOIΓ: 6/26/2024 4:01:49 PMIf either saint or Osiris is female you wouldn’t be saying this. So y’all hοmοphοbes need to shut up. On another note, I’m surprised y’all didn’t complain that it’s an interracial relationship because y’all keeps going back. Seriously, if y’all keep acting like this, we will never get fully fleshed out characters again from Bungie. Do better.

Edited by whateverman7: 6/26/2024 4:56:09 PMOnly reason the relationship annoyed me initially was cause Osiris lied to us lol. He had us breaking time to save his boo thing, but he told us it was for some other reason. He could've told us the truth up front. We still would've done it. As for what just happened, can't wait to see how it plays out. Osiris not being able to deal with not living without Saint, had us pluck another Saint from another timeline without thinking about the repercussions. And Saint finally finding out he not from this time, oh baby. In the words of good ole jr: business is about to pick up lol.
-
Also, for all the people saying the chemistry is off: maybe that's cause they are from 2 different timelines. 🤔 it makes sense

Hahaha nice job. You brought out the best of this forum, into this thread. Liberty. The natural born right to be whoever you are. Yet neither side can accept that.
-
Yeah to be honest I don’t mind that they’re gay. Whatever. Not my cup of tea, but okay. I think they just need to focus on telling a good story and not a love story. Saint and Osiris being together always feels weird to me. I always envisioned them being more brothers in arms than anything. Not this. Don’t get me wrong, I like their characters, but this feels forced in most aspects.
-
Wait until they realise Amanda was killed off so Crow could get it on with the trans exo. :) Really though, who cares? No one plays for the story. Just skip it and get back to killing aliens and robots for guns and armour.
-
it would’ve been better story wise if they were just bffs
-
I have no issues with same -blam!- relationships, but the number of them in this game raises some questions. Like no wonder the Earth is still so under populated.
-
I couldn’t care less about anyone’s -blam!-, either in game or irl. It’s the potential meat grinder aspect of a human and exo 🍖⚙️ that kinda gives me the wiggins.
