Borealis got powercrept long ago and didnt recieve any buffs except making shots after breaking a matching shield not tied to bullets in a mag. For now Borealis is worse than any legendary 72rpm frenzy/vorpal sniper in the game. Erianas got buff recently and it was really good. My suggestion is to give bonuses to Borealis for breaking a matching shield like Eriana Breaking an Arc shield - makes a blast that jolts or blinds in an area Breaking a Void shield - makes a blast that supress/makes volatile/weaken in an area Breaking an Solar shield - makes an ignite or a scorch blast For now we got 3 exotics that change light damage type Borealis powercrept and useless (20% more damage after breaking a matching shield is just too bad) Hard Light got some shenanigans in pvp Dead messenger is craftable wave GL with 3 waves and double good neutral game perks And remember how sick Ultraviolet skin looks on it
