Completed Going Fast Triumph: My Moth-Infested Cavern Build

As many of you are no doubt aware, the Going Fast Triumph requires you to complete each Cyst in under four minutes. This is particularly tricky in the Moth-Infested Cavern Cyst as you spend so much time activating the plates within. With that in mind I figured I’d quickly touch upon the important parts of the build I used as well as a few tips to consider to finally get this done and claim the Triumph. BUILD • Heartshadow with Catalyst: Invisibility in exchange for a single Heavy attack (no need to kill any mobs to activate); enhanced movement speed while under Heartshadow’s Invisibility effect; Catalyst makes the Invisibility last longer; can one shot troublesome enemies who hang out on your plate. • Echo of Persistence (Void Subclass): Void Buffs (Invis, Overshield, Devour) applied to you have increased duration; let’s make that Invis last longer! • Feed the Void and Child of the Old Gods Aspects (Warlock Void Subclass): Two Aspects that work well together to keep your health topped up in case you get struck by a moth. • Briarbinds: Improves your Void Soul. • Traveler’s Transference (Pale Heart Flickering Blessing): Sprinting for a short time cause you to become Amplified. While Amplified, dealing melee damage creates lightning bolts. • Nova Bomb Cataclysm: A good source of burst damage against the Wizard Guardian. Just toss it as soon as the Wizard spawns (taking care to avoid the stalactites, pillars and moths), then use Heartshadow to go Invis and move in for the kill. TIPS: • Be aware that there are technically only two enemies that must be killed to clear this Activity: a standard Wizard maintaining the barrier between the first and second plates as well as the Wizard Guardian that spawns upon locking down the third plate. Ignoring all other enemies between the plates (including the Acolyte Guardian by the portal leading to plate three) and focusing on only those that pose a present danger to you while capturing will save you time and ammunition. • Utilize the Invis from Heartshadow and Amplified from Traveler’s Transference to move quickly between plates, and to improve your survivability where necessary. Be aware that while the moths cannot track you while you are Invis, they can still collide with you or enemies, causing you damage. • A single death doesn’t necessarily mean failure, depending on how far back you respawn. The respawn points for this activity are admittedly a tad inconsistent (I’ve once died on the first plate and respawned outside of the activity entirely, back where you destroy the runes to get inside), but there are times where a death will result in a respawn that’s only a three second run back to where you fell. If you get a lucky respawn after a single death, keep going in case this happens to be a good run. - Completing this activity under four minutes leaves very little wiggle room, but with practice, a good strategy and the right build (there of course must be other viable builds for this run) you should be able to get it done.
