1/3 of the guns are still time gated. Xp required to level is quintupled after level 100. Battlegrounds are coming with act 2. Same weekly time gates. Talk to vendor, talk to projector, get talked at by a character. Episodes are worse unless I'm missing something. Edit: Red Death catalyst time gated till act 2.

What did you guys expect? Don't say, "something better," or some other non answer. Bungie detailed episodes way back and some us were telling this is just seasons stretched out. We were yelled at. But here we are, 'seasons stretched out'. No matter what words Bungie were using, they were describing [i]seasons stretched out.[/i] But setting the lack of discernment and reading between the lines; it appears that you guys had something else in mind. So please, describe exactly what you thought this was going to be based on past blogs.

Just wait till after next week when the story ends until act 2. I didn't expect a complete transformation when going from seasons to episodes, but the only difference appears to be they just put the usual end of season down time, in the middle of it instead

The whole seasonal “questlines” are trash; why is everyone throwing a hissy fit about wanting it all at once. Probably not a single proper cutscene in this seasonal questline, and Failsafe , really? Some plants in a terrarium? You want THAT, all of it, right now? Even the campaigns cutscenes were mostly Mara doing absolutely jack all, Cayde glazing Crow a bunch, Ikora doing jack all as usual and Zavala turning into a weak, broken minded baby guardian who suddenly gives in to darkness with a terrible new voice actor (Yes I know its Keith omg Keith-sama so amazing UwU (plot twist he was terrible)) In the end it’s all about enjoying the gunplay, stop coping and saying the seasonal questline is so important to you, this seasons is especially boring. Oh, really, we’re investigating some Vex bs after taking down the witness. So great. Just give me my guns and sayonara. “Give us all the content” It is no content; step 1 talk to failsafe for a stupid dialogue, step 2 run HELM activity, step 3 return to helm vendor and have another stupid talk, step 4 talk with another thing in the HELM, step 5 put some fish in the aquarium or plant a plant, step 6 talk to HELM vendor again, step 7 wait for next week and do it all over again Like what?! And you’re all pissed you can’t have that, times 4, all at once? And the reward is always some ugly -blam!- sparrow nobody ever uses.
