[b] tldr: Titan Exotics don't let us make good builds for prismatic even with exotic class item. Prismatic Titan Aspects have no flow and lead to the same build. Unbreakable needs a rework. Stasis Shard should give Frost armor regardless and make Tectonic/Grim/Glacial Harvest passive.[/b] Prismatic Titan had potential to be incredibly good and I like the direction that Bungie wanted to go with it. But the issue Prismatic Titan has is that 1: Titan Exotics aren't very good leading to poor builds. 2: Aspect choices are counter intuitive to what the fantasy is and lead to a bad flow. 3: Stasis shards are essentially useless. Current Builds I see going around for Prismatic Titan are: Insurmountable Skullfort, Point Contact Cannon Brace, Synthoceps, Abeyant Leap HOIL, and the exotic class item (which the best builds with this exotic are basically a lesser version of these builds). The main issue with these is that Titans are essentially playing a "Lite" version of other subclasses because there are little to no exotic synergies with prismatic that would actually be a fun build and there is no efficient way to keep the train going besides "monte carlo". And before people start saying [u]"But you have Solar and Strand Titan for builds!" [/u] [b]That is not an excuse for the Prismatic Titan to be unfun...[/b] [b][u] THE ASPECTS DO NOT FLOW WELL AND LEAD TO JANKY BUILDS[/u][/b] Prismatic Titan can be essentially become "Consecration the Subclass" since Knockout is the only way to stay alive up close and Consecration is the only other viable aspect. Sure we can use Diamond Lance or Drengr's Lash but we would be better off using their respective subclass since we would get that AND MORE if we just went Stasis or Strand. [b] Unbreakable:[/b] uses our grenade to block damage, which defeats the whole point of Prismatic Titan and it gives nothing in return, Prismatic Titans doesn't really have an efficient way to gain grenade energy back besides dealing damage with melee, so why would I even use unbreakable if I need to melee to get it back? I would lose Knockout or Consecration! And I would miss out on the powerful grenades that we get access to which is one of our only ways to stun champs. Even with the exotic class item with "Spirit of the Bear" and "Spirit of Armamentarium", it feels like a wasted exotic slot since there isn't much going for it even if i tried to build for unbreakable. Maybe change unbreakable to our Class Ability? OR Instead of Disorienting make it Suppress? We are only left with two Super Options since Titans NEED to run Facet of Purpose to stay alive up close which are Bladefury (strand) and Twilight Arsenal (Void). There is no point of running Hammer of Sol, besides the restoration from Facet of Purpose, but we don't Sol Invictus to make it worth while. Thundercrash isn't great since we would be forced to run Cuirass of The Falling Star thus losing a build for just cuirass and we get amplified from knockout, Leaving us with Glacial Quake (Stasis) which leads me to my last point. [b]I Love the Buff to Stasis but we need more[/b] I kept trying to see how I could make a stasis shard build work to constantly give me frost armor but the only way I found any success was to switch to stasis for the damage resistance. Facet of Purpose gives 2 stacks of frost armor per orb of power. I wonder if there could be a fragment or just a QOL change where stasis shards just give frost armor. I feel like it would greatly benefit Prismatic Titan and all Stasis Subclasses if Grim/Glacial/Tectonic Harvest are just features in stasis like other elemental drops.
