hey lm all for teaming up. but bungie really should have a option for solo players or those who want to earn the class item by other ways. this seems selfish of bungie after taking your money. it don't sit well with many players and makes bungie look bad.

Vote with your wallet and time my friend, as I will. I am not getting my 99 bucks worth and I will spend no more with them. Over 80% (measured by achievements on Steam) DO NOT engage with Non-Matchmade endgame content. That is a lot of people who feel cheated. Cheated on Microcosm. Cheated on Exotic class items. Cheated on Guardian rank progression. It will fester with each day it remains unaddressed, with each dismissive comment from mainstream gaming media, with each nose deaf YouTube video showing what has been put unreasonably and unnecessarily beyond the reach of the vast majority of the player base who will play less and then leave. You cannot force the behaviors of gamers. Those 80% keep the Bungie lights on. There is a dark storm brewing on the distant horizon and it is coming for Destiny 2. Those who wish to troll me in response be aware that your opinion means nothing to me.

Big thumbs up they have lost me as a investor. I will not buy another thing from bungie the 2 person exotic class item mission did it for me. They need to wake TFU Thinking this was a good idea.

I think the worst parts of the game are the toxicity and the complete lack of Info from bungie. If I don't know an encounter I have to watch guides on YouTube and get screamed at in activities rather than receiving the information. Instead of folks just being reasonable and communicating they act childish and angry expecting psychic team members who know how to shoot some magic bean in the right order. And somehow that equates skill or fun or a well thought out encounter.

The game is clearly for solo players. It lets you play solo, for no discount in price, it’s for solo players. I mean, it literally had cut scenes of just and only your character. Having said that, multiplayer has always been what the devs historically have spent most of their work on, right or wrong. It’s for multiplayer too, A game CAN actually be for solo AND multiplayer. Here’s the issue: the game is badly designed. Everyone pretty much knows that. The more players blame each other for the bad job the game designers did, the more they can let it’s bad design go on. We’re at the end here. The only issue I have is with people who are suddenly disappointed in Destiny after a literal decade of mediocre performance. It’s entertaining enough, maybe. But everyone knows this thing is a C+ game in its best days, with a ton of F’s thrown in.

I will say this, LFG'ing is way more fun if your first language is English. [i]- It's like a .....hmmm........it looks like a ......hmmm......it's a round thing.....with things...on the sides.[/i] [b]- Is it a circle, almost like a sun drawing or if you're familiar with what viruses look like?[/b] Now do this with every symbol :)

Bungie got this one right. The co-op mission is awesome. The rewards are good. But you need to communicate with a team mate to get it done. That's the whole point behind the exotic class items, 2-for-1. If you need a team mate that can talk in discord (fireteam chat is too slow for the rapid callouts you need in Dual Destiny) I would be happy to help you -or anyone reading this- clear the co-op mission. I stream on Twitch and my channel is the same as my Bungie name here. Just hop into chat and say hi. You are correct in thinking it requires extra effort to participate in -some- aspects of this game. And it's worth it! MOST of Destiny is very solo-friendly, more so today than ever before. I think it would be really strange if you could solo play all the way through difficult, challenging content designed for fireteams of 2 or 3 or 6 (solo dungeons and low-man raids are the exceptions, Bungie doesn't start out there and then build them into fireteam activities). The choice is yours. You can take a step or two and connect with other Guardians willing to help, or you can be mad that the game doesn't cater to 100% solo players.

10 years and you haven’t found a group of friends to play with. 10 years and you haven’t realized the game revolves around “fireteams”. It is and always has been a team-based game. Get with the program. So many of you solo players complaining, why don’t you all just start playing with each other?

Seriously? Yours is about the 100th post on this topic. This has been done to death by now and even been reinvented as an attack on those who suffer from anxiety issues.

You will not be able to access a handful of the game if you don't make friends. This is not an issue with the game and never has been. This is a requirement that has always been in the series since Vault of Glass. This concept isn't new. The concept of meeting a requirement to do something (even in single player games), is not new. This is how it's been. A lot of people have come out of the wood works to say they have anxiety and for people who have anxiety, they sure are social on here. Me and my friend were discussing it last night: "They have am anxiety of letting someone down. At worst, you'll never see them again if you LFG. At best, you'll make friends. You're worried about letting people down? Well you're letting people down by making those posts." At this point I'm starting to think that people who want to play solo should just.... Play another game. I'm not trying to say this to be mean, but you will never be catered to and you will never get what you want. If Bungie caters to you, then the whole point of destiny is shattered. Bungie has always wanted players to come together to beat harder and challenging activities since they introduced clans. Especially with how they revamped clans in TFS with hawthorne being an actual vendor that you level up. 1,250 exp for doing a single encounter on a raid. Literally dropping rewards like crazy. It's sad to see many people not want to do things together with a friend. I didn't come to the forum to complain I'm season of the Undying when I had anxiety from losing my group (they just went to college, stopped playing etc). I found a Sherpa, learned how to raid in GoS with all the glitches and extreme lag and met friends that I now raid with for 5 years. I can balance out my life to the point where I don't even need to think about it. Real life friends, online friends, work etc. it's actually fun to balance. Now I'm the first one to say I want to do the mechanics. Ad clear is boring. Give ME SOMETHING to do. But yeah. It's not that Bungie hates solo players, it's that solo players aren't fitting into the game because they reject the idea of even playing with others.
