Knife Trick Melee ability has bugged hit detection/hitbox
Since the release of TFS, the hunter Knife Trick melee seems to have lost any and all hit detection, sometimes even visually traveling through enemies without hitting them. Something is clearly broken either with the hit detection or the hitbox on the knives. Throws that would have been hits all day before TFS are now blatantly missing or traveling through enemies when they should not be.
I can't imagine this is an intentional change/nerf, because surely a "change" of this magnitude would warrant a patch note, of which there were none on the topic of Knife Trick. Knife Trick now feels completely useless and even detrimental to use as it is so incredibly inconsistent now that you basically need to hug right up to your target in order to ensure you deal damage to them with even a single knife, and even that does not always work.
I haven't seen this issue being talked about very much, nor have I seen it appear in the known issues list, and I'm not sure if that is due to the general unpopularity of Knife Trick, or if this issue is only effecting some individuals. Regardless of the situation, I've yet to see a Bungie reply or acknowledgement of this issue, so I ask simply for some acknowledgement that you are aware of the issue, or that this is somehow intentional behavior.
