14 of 15 Encryption Bits BUG (WITH TRIUMPHS COMPLETE) Khvostov Bug Help Needed
I am just requesting a Bungie dev reply to this that they're working on a fix so I know it's being addressed. I know there are multiple people facing the same issue.
I collected all 9 region chests and got the triumph.
I scanned all 6 piles of rubble in each cyst and got the triumph.
I also have went back into each Cyst, played 100 alone in the dark missions, and quadruple checked each region chest location like an idiot, knowing I already got them all. I mean, the triumphs are completed so obviously the system knows I did.
We should have 15 bits and it should allow us to get the legendary version, but due to a bug, which seems to be associated with playing a Cyst with another player, we are now stuck at 14, can no longer see any region chests or piles of rubble because we've already done everything, and are completely stuck from getting the gun at all.
This is a problem MANY people are having and we haven't heard a peep about the issue. I'm just looking for acknowledgment from Bungie that this is an issue they are actively working on.

If you haven’t acquired all of the Encryption Bits yet, make sure you’ve collected all region chests in the Pale Heart and searched all of the rubble piles in the Cyst activities. Please note, there’s a known issue where the triumphs for opening the region chests and searching the rubble piles might be marked as completed before you’ve actually met the intended requirements. So, it’s recommended that you re-run all of the Cyst activities and double-check every rubble pile. After you’ve interacted with all the intended chests and rubble piles, you should receive the Lost Encryption Code, regardless of the number of bits that have appeared in your inventory. Ik heb het zelfde probleem , ik had 15 lost incription bits en toen ik 16 vond ontdekte ik dat ik nog maar veertien incription bit's had in mijn inventory had na vele gezoek in pale hart, bungie MOET dit oplossen .het is niet onze fout!. 🤢 Dhyan 17 nov 2024 ik heb genoeg van het spel als ze zo nog lang blijven verlaat ik het spel voor goed!!

It really is sad that Bungie isn't more responsive to so many people experiencing the same issues. In my case, I'm experiencing both of the major issues related to the Khvostov. Please respond Bungie.

Same here. I have all 9 chests completed in triumphs and repeated ALL the cysts multiple times. I only have 14 out of 15 lost iencryption bits. Even Micah's Alone in the Dark quest card says I have 6/6.

2 Replies@Bungie: I agree with the thread and OP. I have gone through every cyst and every location for the chests and I found nothing except in the Moth Cyst location where the pile indicated search and nothing dropped. Went back again and the pile was gone. I had completed it before, twice, but I am still at 14/15 with the Triumph completed.

Just got a non-answer that I needed to check everything and a reference to a known bug if your inventory is/was full when doing any of those. They're just copy-pasting answers at this point.

Hey Bungi, I'm still having this issue. I have everything but missing the last bit. I've double checked all of the missions and I have the exotic mote of light already, just can't get 15th bit. Please Help!!!
