Twilight Arsenal tracking is TERRIBLE

Axes are literally impacting behind me, outside of my FOV. I have multiple clips of this happening. Something needs to be done ASAP. This completely ruins the super.     Atleast your super cant get stuck in a wall. Or count super kills as "enemy down" with the kill going to the architects not the player, never registering your point/kill into the game score. Silence & Squall does both thoes things. The later bug(super kills counting as architects kills) I can recreate with a 100% success rate and have reported it to Bungie. They do not care. Welcome to the world of the revenant hunter, holding the title of lowest usage for the hunter class. Maybe because its a void titan super you might get noticed and have the problem fixed.

    • They're trash anyway, there weak as hell and might be just OK in pvp but in pve, I wouldn't bother

        Im not sure of the terminology but I’m going to say the issue is the axe has a big bit box. So in your second video what I’m seeing is you are jumping and throwing. The first axe is thrown before you hit your jump apex and is thrown from the right side or shoulder. The second is thrown at the jump apex BUT the axe is thrown at an angle to your left side so clears the ceiling. The third axe is thrown at jump apex AND thrown directly over your head so part of the third axe hits the ceiling and goes ricochets down to the ground. Slow it down and you will see it. Yes it looks like it disappears and moves forward in a steak effect but it shows an impact on the ceiling then hits the ground. So first throw is right leaning throw, the second throw is left leaning and the final is over the head. Thats the issue and the hit box. Just need to be mindful. Edit: in your first video I think your second axe HITS the enemy weapon fire and ricochets downward. So if the axe it’s weapons fire it will be deflected. Just my guess from what I see in the video.

        • Yeah. In the first video, the second and third axe never hit the boss. They hit enemy weapons fire and ricochet downward. The second video the third axe hits ceiling then ricochets downward.

        • Man they haven’t fixed the Sentinel Shield tracking ever since it came out in 2017, what makes you think they’ll fix this 😭 [spoiler]Im a sad sentinel shield player :([/spoiler]

            • Surprisingly the super is -blam!- nuts in PvP, often times killing 2-3 guardians per axe throw. Baffling how bad the tracking is in PvE for some.

                • Are you talking about actual Tracking.. like Missiles? Because these are meant to be similar to the Hammer and don't have much tracking. Plus they cause an explosion when impacting.

                    • I noticed this problem earlier today. I tried hurling my axes, only for none of them to hit the boss, and instead all go straight to the ground in front of me. All because there happened to be stasis crystals below me, and despite my position being an entire 10ish feet above, the axe hitbox still impacted the crystals just because they were slightly in front of me.

                    • Bungie really needs to do something about this. Had in instance where all my axes went straight down or tracked to my skimmer instead of the boss I am looking at and aiming towards. Not the only new super either I'm having an issue with. The new Hunter one sometimes won't even teleport and leave you in the suspended animation for a second.

                      You are definitely onto something… not sure if the problem is solely with tracking… perhaps it’s also related to the very stiff axe-aiming motion right after activating the super. Another issue maybe be that you have very short time to adjust your aim after throwing the 1st axe. It feels rushed… subsequently you miss a lot with your 2nd and/or 3rd axe. Tracking… Stiff Aiming… Very Short Time (for 2nd & 3rd axe). Those are all issues… I would start by removing that stiffness during the aiming moments… Snappier aiming should definitely improve throwing precision.

                    • I feel they gave it the same tracking as 3rd person melee. While you are aiming straight ahead the game instead tracks the enemy to your left.

                      • Was three-manning Nezarec yesterday. Went to pop my axes on final stand to apply weaken. First axe went straight down, second axe went flying 45 degress off center of the boss, third axe went straight down. Needless to say, we didn’t kill him in that attempt.

                      • They have such a giant hit box but then literally fly right past the targets you are aiming at. It's frustrating how inconsistent it is.

                      • I agree with this as well. The axes should track to any target close to where you’re aiming the axes. I’ve had axes go straight down, or fly completely off centre in different directions. If I want an axe to go below me, I’ll aim down…

It’s too strong. Ends up tacking to targets that you aren’t intending it to.
