I was starting the Xenophage quest for the first time on my main (a Warlock). I followed a video's instructions on the order in which to light the torches on the statues, got a chest to spawn, and when I opened it, I received an exotic looking item. I didn't catch the name, but it was shaped like a soft diamond badge, and had the yellow exotic background. I moved on to the next step, which was to grab the orb of light and light lamps scattered around, but it said that the path of darkness wasn't opened to me. I cannot grab the orb. I checked my inventory (both weapon and item), and didn't see any new items, quest or otherwise. My weapon slots were all full, so I opened a slot in each section, and checked the postmaster. Nothing there. Checked the quest archives, nothing there. I logged out and back in on my Hunter, and redid the statues. Nothing was given when the chest spawned. I discovered that the order I have found online is different from the video, but when following the video, it did give me something. I tried both ways just to be safe, but nothing else has been given, no matter which order or chest I open. I just cannot find it for the life of me. Does anyone have a clue on how to fix this, or "reset" my attempts at receiving the quest? I was trying to figure out how to start a ticket with Bungie, but it was nigh impossible to figure out how. So here I am instead. Please help; I'd love to do the dungeon while it's farmable and get the Xenophage while I'm at it.
