The amount of criticism towards the mission for exo class items is ridiculous

The amount of criticism the duo mission for the exotic class item receives is ridiculous. Needing teammates and communication has been a core aspect of Destiny 2 since release. While only really essential in raids, it significantly improves how other activities go as well. Neither is Bungie at fault for your social phobias, nor - sorry - your disabilities. While leaving many things to do solo, D2 is a multiplayer game. If you play a multiplayer game, but refuse to actually do multiplayer due to not being good with other people, then that is not faulty game design. It is totally fine to play stuff solo, but dont blame the multiplayer game for not tending to your specific needs. Of course it is something different with disabilities, but what all the critics from that standpoint seem to forget, that they are a minority, that simply cant be adjusted to by 100%. If you are mute or deaf, it is great of Bungie to consider that as good as possible and enable you to do as much as possible, but you cant expect them to make serious dips in quality for that reason alone - neither from an economic standpoint nor from looking at fairness towards the majority of players that doesnt have these issues. I would say, the core audience appreciates more mechanically challenging content instead of the typical gameplay chain of „clear this, clear that, kill boss“ and outside of this forum, Ive seen a lot of appreciation. Also, dipping over from all the Zero Hour complaints, not everyone is supposed to be able to clear everything. If you cant do something for skill reasons, than get better and try again. Probably due to decreasing difficulty over the last years, some casuals have come to the conclusion that they should be good in everything except raids. The minute an activity other than a raid is difficult and people cant clear it, its the game‘s fault, not their own. (Not to say the way the difficulty is implemented cant be criticized. Artificial difficulty like in Node Avalon is worth criticizing and if stuff is difficult but doesnt reward you accordingly, that is worth a mention as well.) No matter the reason, people act like they miss out on half the DLC. Prismatic is playable without these class items, at least on Warlock even better without it imo. Dont come up with the „I paid for this“. That might be valid concerning the content vault, but not this. You didnt pay to get all the loot for free, you paid for the opportunity to get it, for the mission, for the experience and yes, if you can clear it the usage of said item. I dont see people complain about having to pay for raids when they are incapable of playing/clearing them. Why is it suddenly relevant here? (Pricing complaints on the other hand can be reasonable, even in this rare case of Bungie overdelivering for once.) In summary, stop expecting the game to tender to your own specific needs instead of those of the core audience and/or majority. If one mission requiring communication is enough for you to consider quitting the game (as some people pit it) feel free to. I dont like the activity much myself, but not for accessibility reasons. I think there should not be as many and as long jump in run parts, if the timer resets regularly and isnt really a threat. Jump in runs only work, when they actually have stakes (like in Zero Hour with every second saved in the Jump in Run being added to your time at the boss). Without stakes they just drag the time without adding anything to the challenge. Regards from the slow-walking and dialogue sections of the campaign.
