Why does the weapon perk "Spike Grenade" sound like a Fallen Web Mine when shooting?
As the title states, why does spike grenades on Grenade Launcher cause the SFX of the explosion to become more of a "Fallen Web Mine" type sound than without?
Has it always been like this, but at a lower volume?
Is there anything I can do to mitigate the sound (outside of not using the perk)?
I'm just confused as what's doing this, as it's similar to disorienting grenades having arc jolt SFX, that disappears when choosing something else (like high velocity rounds). Attached a short video showing it off.
