Bungie store orders

Hey all, I ordered some merch on the Bungie store 07/06/2023 and am still waiting, at what point should the store just refund the customer and just say the product is out of stock sorry for the inconvenience here's your money back we will send you an email when it's back in stock. Am I over reacting?

  • Bungie don't get things in stock, they do it backwards. An example. The jotunn toaster. Bungie find a Chinese supplier who supply toasters with a free logo of your choice, but the company have minimum order numbers before they'll ship. The toaster was 3000 units, 0.30 per unit. So bungie put it on their site, but can't order with the supplier until 3000 have been ordered. Once 3000 is hit, order gets placed, then they wait to get them, then hire a 3rd party to package them, label them, ship them. As you can imagine this can take a very long time, sometimes orders never hit fulfillment & never arrive. I know this because the guy who owns the Chinese factory posted on Reddit, he's an avid destiny player, couldnt believe bungie used his store, also couldnt believe they charged £90 each, other retailers charged £12.
