Dear Bungie or Destiny 2 Team
I am a Destiny 2 player from Mainland China. I have played this game for three years. With the release of Lightfall, the simplified Chinese version of Destiny 2 also received a Mandarin audio localization. However, because I have been using English dubbing for a long time, I cannot get used to these characters using Mandarin dubbing anyway. However, the game does not allow us to choose different text and localized audio packages. The fact that I couldn't replace the game with English dubbing made me feel very angry. After browsing Steam Store and social media in Chinese Mainland, I found that many people have the same ideas as me. Therefore, I hope that on behalf of this group of players, I can request you to add optional localized audio package function to the game.
This should be a very reasonable request, as many games allow players to choose their own audio and language packages. At present, most people in Chinese Mainland communities are disappointed with the quality of Mandarin dubbing and line translation, and even more people stop playing the game for that. On the Lightfall Simplified Chinese comment page in Steam Store, many angry players are dissatisfied with Mandarin dubbing, but what makes them even more dissatisfied is that the simplified Chinese text version of the game is bound to poor quality Mandarin dubbing. Given that a small number of players can accept the Mandarin dubbing version of the game, adding optional voice packs to the game is the best solution to this problem.
In the sixth year of the game's release, Bungie was able to come up with the idea of providing Mandarin dubbing for Destiny 2, which made us very excited, because it means that the official has finally begun to attach importance to the Chinese player community. However, before you launched the Mandarin dubbing feature, you did not provide the questionnaire and did not consider whether players who have played your game for so long could accept it. You blindly introduced this feature unilaterally, which made us very confused. We will try to call on players on Chinese social media to follow this petition to prove that this is not the opinion of a few of us. The end of Destiny 2 has come, but I hope, we hope, we can witness it together with the familiar voices of Command Zavala, Amanda, and other characters. I sincerely request the attention of the staff of Bungie!
To those non Chinese players who have seen this post, if you support adding optional voice packs to the game, please also support this post. Thank you. May the Light provide.

Wish I can have the option English audio package before I die. The Mandarin audio is great, you guys did a great job, but I can't buy it, the original English voices of characters in destiny 2 have accompanied me for many years, they are like old friends to me, like a comfort zone, it's hard to switch in one click, once it got changed last year, I been forced to choose in between transcripts and voices, and I chose the audio, cause it's mean to me, it quite disturbs me play destiny 2, I need to relearn the perks' name and match them with the meanings in my head one by one, I cannot follow the story anymore. Anyway Destiny 2 is a great game, plays an important part in my early 20s, and its stories shaped the way I perceive the world profoundly, AND I REALLY NEED THAT ENGLISH AUDIO BACK, PLEASE!!!
