Recluse and Master of Arms kind of suck
I’m sure you guys have already received this feedback but it’s kind of sad that everyone is basically saying recluse is trash and funnel web is better. The base stats of recluse do seem very low and could use a buff.
But even more important, master of arms is a trash perk. This is a big problem because master of arms is a perk specific to recluse. I think that a gun specific perk should be arguably the best perk on the gun that people want to go for.
However, this is an easy fix. You guys haven’t stated what the enhanced master of arms will be and you can easily make this a desirable perk with that. It definitely needs a damage buff to at least 20% and honestly it should get a frenzy like buff. Maybe it maxes out stability and reload instead of handling and reload that frenzy does.
But the damage buff should be higher than frenzy because getting a kill in high end content is a bigger ask than just being in combat for 12sec.

The bad thing is, there's no reason to ever save a roll with Master of Arms when Frenzy does the same thing, is easier to activate, and boosts your reload on top of it's damage boost just by being in combat. Unless the enhanced MoA perk does something significant, there's no justification for saving any version of Recluse with MoA.

1 ReplyI acquired every possible good roll on it, and they all feel worse than Funnelweb. I'm not sure why, but they do. It irritated me. Recluse was one of my favorite weapons, and I was really looking forward to its return. Truthfully, though, I probably loved it because of what it used to be, and I'd be a fool to think it'll ever be that way again.

Recluse is worthless in PvP,master of arms has a small damage buff it should do something else besides damage. Also the zoom level is worse on recluse,overall it can do anything any other smg can do but it doesn’t stand out in anything. It was my favorite SMG now it’s just sitting in the vault.

I haven't liked any of the Recluse drops that I've had. I'm not much of an SMG user though. I'd rather use an AR.
