I would have preferred they just guaranteed the shield breakage on the first shot by increasing the damage to shields slightly, but their planned update to guaranteeing an ignition upon breaking any shield sounds pretty sweet.

The weapon already gets a damage bonus and it’s literally about to start igniting next month. It doesn’t need any of this other stuff

ideally this would give the weapon more forgiveness and viability, though it may be too little of a buff, or too much to rework the entire perk design of DFG
