PvP Map Packs Should Be Regular Now
These maps whether they’re good or not should almost be like the standard now. We should be getting a yearly pack like this for now on. The whole “this is taking resources away” is obviously BS. They’ve added 3 maps, into the light, a new enemy race, prismatic, the pale heart, an episode coming directly after final shape, and probably a lot more we don’t know about. The resources thing is such crap.
Maybe going forward we could get like 1 new map every episode…or a pack yearly. Whatever works. Even if one of them is a D1 remake or something. Or even one on an older destination. Like Io, the depths of Titan, Simulant Present on Mercury, Savathun’s ship, a cabal cruiser orbiting Neptune, Rhulk’s Puramid, Black Garden, the locations we had in Season of the Plunder, etc. So many options.
On a side note, I think bungie should just add all the maps back to casual 6v6. Crucible is supposed to be chaotic.

2 RepliesWould be nice but probably won’t happen due to marathon coming out which will take main focus . Also Bungie are purely using the pvp community to test out new ideas to carry over to marathon.

D2 is still lagging behind D1 in terms of maps — it’d be great to get more regular ones and finally overtake it! 😄 It’s difficult to know what Bungie’s long term plans are for Crucible. Is the PvP strike team just a stopgap to help sell TFS? “Strike team” doesn’t sound long term to me. And will Destiny PvP get abandoned again, in order to prioritise Marathon? I’m going to assume Crucible will continue to be a low priority for Destiny. It’s the hope that kills you! 😩💔
