To those who are Solo Players (Including me)

I've been in the game since Taken King in D1 and in beta in D2. I enjoyed every last moment of D1 and D2 solo which are Story, MatchMake PVP, Strikes, Gambit ''Sometimes'', and Exotic that do not require others. Nowadays or forever in Destiny, times are rougher when looking for a fireteam that has KWTD wording which is understandable in their view, and certain weapons that people want you to use or in videos of best DPS weapons are Raids and Dungeons granted Dungeons can be solo but for some, it is best to have a fireteam. what I am trying to say is, that there are plenty of options to play the game, like me, I just do Stories, season content, Strikes, a little PVP, exotic quests, and yes even Gambit. There are good weapons that one craftable and obtainable without raids and dungeons. To end it, play what you feel comfortable with. It's your game, your character, and your entertainment. Besides raids and dungeons will always be there if you want to go for it after all they are optional. Now that the old veteran of Destiny 1 & 2 is done talking, I want you all to have a good time, be well, and be entertained. I will all see you in the Final Shape. 🙂

  • I'm a solo player too. To some degree it's a choice of my own and to some, not. I have a "few flaws" that might be scary and huge hinders to many other players; I'm really old, slow, have dyspraxia, can't stress without getting ill, strong-willed, bad at speaking english, pretty shy, not a male, etc... Sometimes I really miss a good reliable friend to play with because it can be very fun accomplish mission together with other guardians, shared happiness, twice as great! Sometimes I get a friend request but I never approve of them just because I don't want to start by saying; - Naaah.. I don't think it's a good idea to YOU dear sender, cause blahblahblah...it's not a win-win situation exactly. I had av gaming friend for ca three years but he "divorced" me... and moved on with a younger male friend. 😹I knew about his friend for some time and asked him multiple times to bring him on in our fireteam but he never did. Perhaps he was ashamed of me or something, who knows... So I know the feeling of having a friend to now and then, play with. I also love doing Raids - with sturdy very enduring mature guardians. That' don't mind waiting, playing in an unstressful way and letting The Fun be the main object. I'm a "result" oriented gamer so I like to finish what I'm starting to do, so finish things is always still a priority, don't be fooled. I also have a chronical issue that hinders me to game certain times. My divorcing friend and I used to decide days and times when we could game together and that works perfect for me. My issue is having pain 24/7 related to my former work situation and I do not work anymore. By be able to chose time for gaming enables me to prepare, plan and adapt for the moment of gaming. It helps a lot! I could also send a message and call off the time if having a no sleep night, etc... He could then use his time better not needing to wait for me, not being able to show up that day and so on. It's not always the GG that s the answer to all solo players will about having possibilities to access certain sorts of weapons, like higher tier ones. Even You friends will get older and fall off the list with top sought players to game with. If you like gaming then you hopefully end up being a very old gamer in the end. I started ca 1986 and Hey 2024!!! Fast as eff. Be nice to each other while chasing all the ugly monsters, loot, goals, etc.. Game On Guardians! 😺
