Khepri's Sting rework

As far as I'm aware, this exotic has always been nothing more than a niche PvP exclusive exotic, and even that was nerfed a while back too. I propose a rework where Khepri's converts your Smoke Bomb into a dash attack while you're sprinting, much like a Titan shoulder charge. On a successful hit, you automatically drop your Smoke Bomb and gain invisibility for about the same duration as Trapper's Ambush. Using your Smoke Bomb in this way would also give you the truesight, and would increase its damage even further than Khepri's already does (cuz let's be honest, even with Khepri's, that ability has never done real damage), however all of these effects would only apply if your Smoke Bomb is used for the shoulder charge, not for the normal Smoke Bomb. What do you guys think?

    • So, just to be clear on the idea: -It's a shoulder charge-esque dash -drops smoke bomb on hit and uses charge -provides Truesight if you hit. -Buffed melee damage increase I think it would have to work like SC where even if you don't hit, it consumes a portion of the charge so you can't spam it as movement. Could be interesting. I'm not sure you even need the buffed melee damage as I feel like the loop would be: Go invis, use the ability to "shoulder charge" someone and reproc invis + truesight, then just melee them again for the kill. Then you dodge, go invis again, and restart the process.

      • My idea of a kepries rework: Fires an elemental wave that is equal to your subclass Solar- Scorches targets (50) Void- applies volatile Arc- Jots Stasis- slows Strand- severs

Khepris should be the hunter version of necrotic grip *Melee hits inflict poison *Synchronize with glaives *Synchronize with all classes melee Enemies that die inflicted with poison spread to nearby enemies Make it so each melee hit increases poison damage stacks 3 times Power melee kill x3 Melee hit x1

          • Just revert to its d1 version. That was much better.

It should be able to have some type of geometry space magic that allows it to pass through “thin” structures. After reading your post, imagine if you had a dash that could phase though geometry and drop a smoke bomb while combo’ing some type of manual melee.
