This game isn't for Solo players!
This game is basically to join a discord to communicate with other players to acquire exotics that are in a Raid. If you can't join then sooner or later you will.have too. Lol

4 RepliesI found that life is best served by just turning off the game. Find a productive hobby that creates something real. Video games are fantasy and serve no real purpose or helps humanity in any way. It's not real and is a waste of time. That isn't my opinion, it's the truth.

24 RepliesAgreed only elitest say otherwise. Its not friendly to most players tbh. New Solo Small fireteams All forced to play with randoms which i rarely do because toxicity in gaming culture is at an all time high. I recommend trying to get real friends to play other than that you are screwed by design. I dont recommend LFG as all my experiences have been horrible especially if you play console.

4 RepliesFor those that "[i]comment[/i]' on this being multiplayer in a rather condescending way, yes Destiny is a multiplayer game. I had a massive clan of friends before D2 with its actual in game clans and raided a LOT. But now I do have a life and synching with people is extremely hard as, for me personally, Destiny is a stress release centered around down time when my computer is busy computing or rendering and I have no scheduled time to play (unlike streamers that start at sunrise and end the following sunrise). Mix in the fact that for those of us that have been here since day 1 we have watched most of our friends leave completely. Heck I'm now the last active member of my 4th clan since we got clans. I'm tired of trying to find chill, fun seekers who take the activities serious enough that we don't wipe every 5 seconds but relaxed enough that no ones stressing out, getting frustrated, yelling, is able to teach as well as learn and most of all being a decent G-PG rated kind of group. That's hard to come by now a days in Destiny. But if I found such a group I would most assuredly create a scheduled time to play just to be with like minded friends again.

The only people the game isn’t for are those who think they are cool for only playing solo or those who are too scared. The in game lfg is literally just match making with extra steps. If you know how to load into a strike with two others, then you most certainly know how to load into warlords ruin with two others. No one thinks you’re cool for acting like you can’t do that.

Some guy just soloed pantheon. If he can do that. You can get out of your shell and use team finder or join a clan.

After HALO, D1 was a hoot! The vibe was new and exciting! We had regular schedules with buds from all points! And we got stuff done! We knew the maps, the planets, the enemies, the fun stuff, and it was (mostly) great! Then came D2…and the vibe was very different. 🧐 Then came the Sunset debacle. 🤬 Many departed. And much later, returned. But, with a different approach to the game. 🤔 Those old players have been there, seen that, got the t-shirt. Nostalgia is the draw that keeps them circling The Light… 🙃 For this old tortoise, I know the lay of the land…I like to pootle about doing vanilla stuff…and if/when I need to, LFG is available. Most of the Guardians I’ve played with over the years have been great! Some - better than great! Occasionally, one happens across a few ‘creatures’ - and that’s just life! 🫤 Always create your own LFG teams - is wisdom writ large! 👈 In my neck of the woods, multiple languages are spoken, so ‘no mic’ is the norm! Raids / Dungeons require a hefty time investment…and comms are a virtual must, if expectations are to be realistic and/or hopefully realised! Especially amongst random players.🤔 IMHO, if that’s your game plan - join a clan! 👈 Otherwise… Enjoy the game and do your own thing! 😁 Ease springs! 🫡

Lol[/quote] You can do 95% or more of the content without ever needing to join or talk to other players. You can do all of the games content without needing discord.

Raiding is one of the few activities that requires 6 players and communication, so my recommendation is to find a good raiding clan that is willing to teach, if you are interested in doing Raids, which is how I learned. Sure you may not find a good one at first, and have to hop from clan to clan to find one that fits you best. I probably have been in about 5 or 6 until I had a good friend pull a bunch of his friends together into one. Otherwise there are many other activities that can be soloed, from Dungeons to Exotic Missions, even GM Nightfalls and in some cases, Raid Encounters. Most 3 man activities in general can be run solo, if you have the patience to learn.

Agreed. I think pantheon is a step backwards as regards growing player base. I really cannot be bothered to go through finder to find a team if like minded guys, tried many times and disappointed only.

Its not sure thats a given but it doesn't mean you can't go it solo I have since d1. Done the raids and dungeons and master nf's it sucks don't get me wrong but its doable.

Lol[/quote] That’s why I rarely play. I like games I can play solo. It’s why I like games like Remnant 2, cause I can play by myself and collect everything. Destiny 3 needs to cater to solo players.

You don’t really have to join a discord to communicate. Honestly you don’t even have to communicate at all. Just hop on fireteam finder and click no mic required.

My favorite part of this discourse is the mental pretzel people will fold themselves into to convince themselves that things like Raids and Dungeons aren't the absolute best pve content this game offers, and that doing patrols and strikes is more fun lmao. Like if you just hate people and want to be solo, cool, but the mental gymnastics to convince yourself the game is [i]better[/i] that way will never not be hilarious.
