I had a 1965 for a while, but it was too much of a project for my finances at the time. Rented a '94. It was pretty quick, but the wheel base was too short so it was squirrely under braking, unlike my Camaro. The three most produced vehicles ever were the VW, the Mustang and the Ford pickup. I have a '69 F100 and I've owned five VWs. Okay now for the sob story. During the oil crisis in the 70s I traded in my '64 GTO for a Datsun. At the dealership there was a 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible for sale for $3500. I still think about missing out on that car. $3500 wasn't cheap then. You could buy a new house for under $30,000.

I still have no issues or contempt for my Focus, but it's just not that kind of fun to drive.

I'm driving a Nissan Versa right now. Absolutely hate it. Nissans used to make great cars. My wife drove our '87 Nissan Stanza through the wooden garage door into the back of the Mustang. Caved in the rear end and pushed it four feet further into the garage. All the Nissan got was a broken turn signal cover, a bent license plate and a few light scratches on the hood.
