I’m with you on this. I once did raids but now I don’t. I like to play this game casually and I don’t really want to play with anyone else or talk to anyone. I’ll only LFG if that means I don’t have to talk to anyone. Matchmaking dungeons should be a thing since an LFG is just matchmaking anyways. I’m not holding my breath for any solo player activities that give raid gear as the reward.

Than get grinding and go solo raid encounters no ones stopping you.

They should make a full length single player raid, with a raid race and all. How cool would that be!

I’ve raided since 2014 consistently through all avenues and all lfg sites and you calling other people toxic is 100% false. I don’t get why you kids love spreading lies but if you actually try the game out instead of crying online, you’ll realize it’s not as bad as you think. Also if you are too proud to play the whole game, then don’t complain you can’t get all the rewards in the game. It’s a simple logic your entitled minds just can’t seem to understand.

Too bad so sad, no loot for you.

That’s not how that works

It’s a big time investment to undertake a Raid / Dungeon. It’s always best done with a regular crew. Way back, pre-sunset, I ran raids all the time with my regular bunch of buddies. It was fun. But, the sunset debacle changed the vibe of the game. In my own experience, BHQ nerfed ToM to dust; this was a hard Exotic to obtain, and rare. Also, the Tribute Book was soon to close, and a requirement was to slay Oryx…for the completion. Many were scrambling to do such. I played a bubble T with ToM…a lot…and the more I helped clear, they told their friends and they came calling too. My Friends List ran to pages… Then they nerfed ToM…in preparation for D2 upcoming launch, apparently. I voted with my feet…and became a Tenno. Much later, i rejoined Destiny. My Friends List had evaporated to zero. I had no interest or intention to engage with Destiny like I did in the old days… Ridiculous levels of RNG / enhanced throttling and artificial levels of difficulty / etc… nah! Not for me. Instead, I pootle about, doing vanilla stuff…getting old seals / triumphs done, or just contemplating such! I chase the odd quest / item (Trials), as desired. I do use LFG when necessary, though I find it can be a drag more often than not. Yes, there are certain raid/dungeon guns / gear that I’d like to get…but…that’s a bridge too far for me. And I’m okay with that! My solution is to give players the ‘Fast Pass’ option to obtain what they want, when they want…to be able to play the way they want! Just like in WarFrame! Anyone who has been to a theme park or ski resort, knows what I mean by a ‘Fast Pass’… It doesn’t break anything…and it’s an option for anyone to use or not, as desired. 🤔 I’m a chill old tortoise. I’m not in a hurry to do anything. I prefer to play with likeminded players when I do LFG stuff…but…so many hares just want to race ahead and keep racing, as if the wolf was chasing them! 🧐 I can easily appreciate OPs pov…though, I’ve rarely ever heard or encountered racist idiots. I have met a few peculiar creatures, though, once identified - I bounce or they get removed. My experience is that there are many, many more good / reasonable Guardians out there, than not. And I frequently encounter many epic Guardians of the highest order, who are a delight to behold and a joy to watch them do what they do! That goes for PvE / PvP. 👌 My vault is always near to bursting! More guns than I can shoot at once. The new ‘Brave’ weapons are good - even the mediocre ones, including the two raid weapons! I’m grinding for my preferred rolls, one at a time. The drop rate of useless rolls far outweigh the keepers…and don’t mention ‘shinies’! 🫤 I’ve done 2x 50-runs on normal…and that’s 1x more than I wanted. Still, only 2x more weekly bosses left for the seal…plus Worm-2, which may be too much for me to bother with, as I’ve done BH / BS / Worm-1…🥱 Now, I do 10s only…until I get bored again! That’s how I play. Take it easy and don’t get caught up in the dramas of a handful of creatures. There’s lots of great Guardians out there…many running solo…many ready to help! 👌 Ease springs! 🫡 MDGA (D3) 👈

I don't raid either but its pretty surprising that people think that raids shouldn't also have some kind of presence within into the light. If you don't do them you're not going to get the stuff.

I used to raid alot back the first game but when the second game came out my clan members gradually lost interest in the game and eventually I became a solo player, I haven't raided since and to be honest I couldn't be happier, I don't feel like I have to chase everything in the game. Besides you can get some raid loot as a solo player, the Last Wish has the wall of wishes that lets you warp to other points in the raids where you can pick up the chests and you can get spoils to buy some of the old exotic weapons with as well.

Sorry but this makes absolutely no sense. Activity specific loot exists for a reason. If you want raid loot do a raid. That’s like me asking for trials weapons from grinding GMs. There’s lots of trials weapons I want or have wanted but I know I’ll never get them cuz I hate trials with a passion. If we were to get any loot from any activity it defeats the purpose of having different activities at all. Just learn the raids, watch some guides and do your own your own LFGs, if you get a “bad” group just leave and get another. Not hard. And if you “hate people” that truly sounds like a personal issue you need to figure out yourself. D2 is a social game that yeah, you can play solo but the focus has always been on team play. And believe me, I say this as a largely solo player who prefers to do everything solo as much as I can and LFGs when necessary (Raids, Dungeons, Exotic Missions, GMs etc)

Hold up they are raid weapons hence if you want them you should do the raid. And it's a multiplayer game just suck it up and find a clan if they are toxic just leave it's that simple

Want raid loot? Run the raids. Don't want to play with other people? Can't play the raids. Can't get the loot.
