Lost Sectors could certainly be one of the methods Bungie uses for the reclaiming of Legacy weapons; we'll just have to wait and see.

Do you mean weapon specific days like the exotics are now?

I suppose that could sort of work, like how there's also world drops in Lost Sectors now. Although if Bungie is bringing back all of the sunset weapons (or even only some of them) I think there would have to be other methods as well. Otherwise, the drop pool would be so bloated players would have to wait weeks on end just for specific weapons to come up in the rotation.

Maybe like Season of Defiance where you “roll the dice” with Leviathan engram for the class swords and imperial decree. Guess we will know soon enough. The most surprising thing I find about undoing the sunset is how they kept it quiet.

With all of the "leaks" and data mining, it is a wonder this was somehow kept under wraps until now.

They are barely used aside from legend. And as long as they arent craftable i think it would be a good time sink.

Well, it would be something for newer players to get into the swing of both to bolster their arsenal as well as learning the Lost Sectors to run on higher difficulty for Exotics and materials. Plus, if they bring some of the other LSs into the rotation (I'm rather tired of the current ones) it'll give me the opportunity to go for the Legend and Master completion triumphs.
