Not exclusively. I thought that would be the issue, but it persists on hand cannon, bow , and intrinsic unstop weapons.

Weird, only ever really had that happen if they were on weird terrain so they got stunned -> moved due to that -> restunned or via polaris/ignitions. You may want to clip it next time it happens to a bow/HC/intrinsics and post it on the help forums as a bug report
