I’m not mad but this should be the icing on the cake for anyone that believes a word Bungie says. Especially when it comes to their contrived reasons for gear/loot. They continue to and wills always do whatever it takes to sell more expansions regardless of what they’ve said or done in the past

Meh, their reasoning at the time wasn’t unreasonable. But now we’re at the end of the game, potentially franchise, so the longevity of sandbox balance isn’t a big deal. We’ve also power crept so far past the cause of sunsetting it’s just not an issue anymore. I lost stuff too but I kept the best of the best, and I’m happy to use it again. Would be nice to see them allow legacy gear to be recollected with the showing rolls though

I didn’t lose anything. I just want everyone to remember Ghorn. The statement “ Ghorn doesn’t have a place in Destiny 2 at this time. We have no plans of bringing it back in Destiny 2.” Now… they may have not had them when they said that. But… they also then did bring it back (for a 3rd time btw) in a $30 add on pack, during an extended season. Also it was totally OP and busted for months until they nerfed it for the next expansion. So the point is… Bungie cares about X,y or z balance/sandbox concept until it benefits them not to. Time and time again
